It seems there are so fewer players now. I'm pretty sure most we see are bots or something, but anyway. With a random we tried so many times, and failed on the magnetron like 10 times (and so many other times on lesser levels... well, I. He was way better than me, but I had sensitive keyboard and bad internet okay ?)... Before I managed to understand how to "finish" the game. We both tried to eat all the "hydra balls" as fast as possible before they could split into more... And like the 3rd try of this, we did it. Nothing was happening anymore. No winner, just joy. :D I posted a screenshot on Twitter X #popcorndoodle

There's more during school hours in my place for some reason. I think this is because so many people are playing it because they have nothing better to do during recess times. At home, however, they most likely have more entertaing and fun things to do.

@@Jellyfish-the-seawingit’s just timing, like the orange kernel shielding to deflect the projectiles. Once you practice a little bit it’s quite easy

You need really perfect timing, just a bit too late and you will both eat and still get damages. Also depends on your internet stability... So better be a bit off-way. (with a stranger we just ate all the final hydra balls and then we was nothing else, no winner.

The boss is endless (the boss is called a magnetron whch is why it isn't a microwave looking thing in battle)

I just finished it with a stranger. It's true there's no actual end coded into the game, but you can stop everything by eating all the "magetron hydra balls" faster than they can split and spawn more. And then we're free to wander around and the game will never finish. That's a true victory. :D

How do you get widescreen?

Chrome Dev tools on PC, upped resolution in js file and then tweaked certain css

Chrome Dev Tools allowed me to increase the overall area shown, js was obfuscated but was able to up from 540 width on gameplay screen. Then able to tweak css to stretch it out as needed to fit the increased screen size.
