Spore depresses me. It's one of my favorite childhood games, but it got screwed over by EA following its problematic launch and its failure to live up to expectations. As a kid, I didn't have any preconceived notions on what I expected from it, and what I received from it was astonishing and entertaining. I wish we had a _real_ sequel.

Resistance Council, post-revolution log #3: Well, it took long enough, however some of our scouts found Lathrix’s new vessel. It is truly an incredible feat of engineering, given just how little time he’s had to create it. The wall of rams has only expanded, and the missile swarms are incredible.. This design bears almost no resemblance to the ones that originally invaded our planet, and yet it still seemingly sweeps aside our scouting groups as if they were not there. Evidently, this situation is made worse by the fact that everyone wants to be the one to catch the great leader of Chaos, and have literally fought each other for the right. However, one captain has returned alive, and has given us insight on how to defeat him. Lathrix as of this log’s creation now relies too much on EMP and harpoon missiles, with only simple AA guns to back them up. The logical response is to use airships, preferably ones that have incredible amounts of thrust to keep them airborne, and include EMP protection. Which is going to be difficult, given a design like that is exactly what we lack. The White Flayers might be able to assist, given their ramming method.. Aaaaaand, scrap the airship idea. That.. abomination.. can fly. How the hell has he even managed that? A flying ram that size? How do we fight something that can simply drop onto our vessels and immediately destroy - no, obliterate - them? This almost resembles the massive, heavily armoured airships of old.. I pray we can find something, anything, that can take that thing down. The Council awaits.

Anthony Wagers my pc can hardly run minecraft on minimal settings my guy but FTD is very well optimized if you turn down the graphics in the main menu before loading a mode of play. I totally recommend it for people with bad cops cause it's really good and easy to run

Put some of the simple weapons on the little "jet holders" that you made or smallish cram cannons and advanced cannons instead of the jets or if you plan on using the jets you can make heliblades like the helicarrier from marvel

Idea: make it a water skimmer that has incredibly powerful jump boosters. So powerful that they are able to get you high in the air but your system isn't powerful enough to sustain it. Give slight glide abilities for alpha strike awesomeness.

You should probably use aimpoint guidance for some very long range missiles. You'll be able to Target stuff outside of normal guidance range, and if you get good at it you can use them to snipe Jets. I used to snipe flying squirrels with large frag missiles at the start of my last campaign so yeah
