Here we go with our second attempt at the Land Campaign! Will Lathrix finally reach difficulty 100 and free himself up to more silly runs in the future, or will It be another sad and sudden end?
Important note - There is an error with the placement timing of the 'Difficulty X/100' graphics near the end of the video where the difficulty increase was stated waaay too early as It's in place of the one before. This is due to when editing me seeing a repeated design a thinking It was a different part of the video. Thankfully past Lathrix makes It very clean when he actually gets to the final difficulty reached in this video!
It looks like there is a similar error earlier in the video but this is just past Lathrix getting confused with what difficulty he Is actually in, the graphics are correct there!
*With maybe a fun weapon or two added for some spice..

I think an interesting challenge run to do is to do a "simple weapons only" run where you are only allowed to use weapons from the simple weapons section. This can include the rams and if you are feeling brave enough, the nukes. however, you must use at least one of every weapon by the end of the difficulty level and must be present on the end game vehicle, (this does include the nuke however you are allowed to have the nuke be on a drone and the drone will be held by the main craft. to make this more tricky, you can not be allowed to use spin blocks for the rams, and you can use the turret parts to make a multi simple weaponed gun.

For your next playthrough your should use multiple craft, but in a way that scale with difficulty. so for difficulty 0-10 you must have 1 craft, 10-20 is two craft, 20-30 is three crafts, ect. You can either choose to have multiple of the same in a swarm, a main carrier with added drones as you go on, or even a mixed fleet (i.e. airships supporting a tank charge). I just think the idea of splitting your resources up is more entertaining and would allow for the tense feeling of wondering what drone will die when. Thank you, sleepy

i would love the next challenge to be either what others have suggested in that you are a carrier and only use drones and possible take control of enemies and use them as your minions, OR a run where you build a giant zombie craft built out of parts or all the enemies you kill or capture, taking parts from everything to become a giant abomination built of loads and loads of random ships of different sizes and factions, ships, subs, aircraft all absorbed into one entity

Id love to see this challange: Only use aircraft (size/type = no restrictions) Main ship allowed 1 offensive wapeon system Systems for defence = bo restrictions Use the "Children crafts for added wapeon systems! Or even repair or what you can imagine. You could do it in the adventure mode or my pick in a campaign (maybe a custom map)(extra hard!?!?)

Potential challanges: - each single craft you own can be woth at most X Recource (for example 50.000) - only Particle cannons - only crams/advanced cannons/rockets with maximum gauge/huge missile size - no wheels (maybe only walkers? good luck with that...) - maybe, if even possible: no energy usage

Oh melee, very nice. Now that is a combat style I aprove of, up close and personal and in full view of the enemy. I believe you'll make it to 100, with a melee craft you can flip enemies upside down if you build it into a slope.

No combustibles challenge (with the exception of ammo). Nothing that burns or explodes is allowed. That means no HE, no fuel engines, no jets, no gunpowder, no CRAMs, no fueled missiles, no wood, no ERA, so on and so forth. Basically, you're stuck with everything running off of battery power and RTGs. On the other hand, you've still got kinetic railguns, lasers, PACs, and ejector-propelled EMP missiles. It'll be tricky, but should result in some interesting designs.

This kinda reminds me of the one adventure mode playthrough where you made a flyer/boat/sub combo that mostly relied on a devastating melee grinder mounted to the front of it plus harpoons to just straight up devour enemies

Not sure how well it would work, but an assimilation style playthrough. You can only capture craft, and every captured craft must be cannibalised/integrated into your craft somehow. Probably not practical but could be fun.

I would love to see a challenge run built around a very slow moving vehicle that is built to tank damage. I find that a lot of your builds utilize speed, or distance. But something that is more midrange that has slow firing slow movement, but high damage...

You should make a harpoon sub and drag your enemies back to the depths ps. emp could let you turn off prop to make it easier to get them in the water also a small anti air system would let you deal with air craft and chip away big targets till they sink

just before going into 80, it would have been interesting if you'd put a melee mohawk on the craft, so if things ride over the top, they get carved up, and changed the turret for some small emp anti-air missiles

My guess as to why you get so many resources is that you’re ripping chunks off instead of individual blocks, so a lot of blocks survive. Either that or you kill them before they can use their internal resources

My challenge for you is the following: Build a submarine-carrier with no offensiv-capabilities on board. Only mode of offense are your little babies and they should zip around you, once released. Min. six opressor-crafts. Imagine a whale surrounded by a school of dolphins.

I would also love a jumping craft, where as it sounds, the craft has to "jump" from place to place. Edit: Also making something that rolls. Yes I said it something that is just a ball of spikes, or more would be amusing and certainly difficult to get from the star. Then make a squad of 5 of them and wreck havoc. p.s. Hey Lathrix, I bet I have a challenge you might really enjoy. Once you build anything, you’re not able to delete it. You just have to keep slapping on new things. Have an old engine? Keep it and build another one. Missiles don’t fit any more? Too bad, keep them there and maybe move them up if they’re about to be internal components. Or make them cluster missiles which get launched from a new launcher. You can remove systems which simply can’t be used anymore, but anything which still functions MUST get left in place, unless it is destroyed in battle, then you can remove it (whether you repair it or not, since that is sorta scuffed).
