If I find somewhere I want to revisit I just bung a random anchor block or something down, so it shows up on the map. Of course now there's a confusing bunch of them but hey, better than nothing! Also the venture mobile black hole would suit that little craft.

Smart, most people have a big problem with big builds because it isn't possible to see certain sections as easily, also the runway can be extended by placing a separate anchor that doesn't touch the other anchor, but, as accurately as possible, place it then build a runway extension. The reason it needs to be as accurate as possible is so that there is a smooth transition.

(12:00 minute mark-ish) Being able to strafe like that sounds like a great tactical advantage when taking fire from the enemy, given that you of course can't take much damage and must rely on avoiding incoming fire to survive.

If you stick the 5-way hover at the front instead (and above the propeller) it will steer with non-inverted controls. Looks more like a flying giraffe than a regular chopper, though. ;-)

Call it the Crane Fly. Firstly, because it looks kinda like one, with its wheels hanging down (like a crane fly's legs) and it's propellers being so much bigger than the rest of it (like a crane fly's wings) But also because of the word "crane". This will be used for building structures, so it is only fitting to name it after a piece of machinery which assists in building things in the real world. (Edit: Not to mention, it kinda fits your usual naming convention too)

Call it Pumapup the Mountain Kitten... Adorable enough? The steering hovers on back make it drift on the opposite direction from where it's turning. Not sure if that's good or bad thing. Inefficient for getting fast from place A to B but may actually make looking around etc. more convenient.

If you place more anchors, place a base AI and enter build mode. When you exit build mode every block that anchors into the ground should... Thereby giving you a more stable building and farther to build

Bumblebee or just bumble for short. Also if the flicker is caused be being far away from the rest of your tech you may want to search for a closer temple or move your airbase to a closer flat rock.

That flickering bug is still present for me, although not as bad as it could get prior to the patch, now it flickers a lot faster, but seems to only last a few seconds.

If you reach build limit use a droper to drop the iteams and a new build with a new anchor point for new build the a new collector. Ive been working on some massive builds like a spiral ramp with the new ramp blocks that we can actually drive on that are the experimental blocks. And massive bass walls that are controlled sepporitly ( murdered that word) by AI blocks. I wish i could post vidoes of my builds but no internet on my 18wheeler or hotspot

Build from the lowest plateau down rather than ground up and dangle the eventual receivers in the air. As long as they are close to the ground the should still be able to grab from a harvester. I've also seen folk do tricks that allow you to 'throw' resources from one tech to another to get around the 64 limit. As for a tech name how about Lacabusm. LAthrix CAn BUild SMall or some other acronym to prove that yes the builder of corvettes that turn into battleships or scouts that turn into cruisers by the time they are complete can build small stuff really, no honestly. Also radars give coordinates and the larger mini-map making finding your way easier so try to squeeze one somewhere on the lil scout builder.
