One scrub's suggestion: You could set the spinners to go in the other direction, so it will tend to go under ships when it hits, instead of climbing them, if you want. Or you could try to set it to pitch down when above a certain altitude, forcing it to keep contact while climbing over enemy crafts. Awesome build though, as usual!

Spinny Spin Wheel of Death. Also, I think it’s climbing because it’s not always instantly destroying all the blocks, or they contact a part of the ram that’s behind the damage area (if that’s even how they work) and because the wheel is spinning down in the front, it rolls up. If you reverse the direction of the ram wheel, it would instead push down some, and not climb. It might go under, but that’s probably more even and easier to decimate from below than the ship is from above, especially considering critical systems are usually put belowdeck for safety.

Lathrix, you can slap rubber blocks on your beard trimmer in the spots that take the most impact damage, instead of metal. It may work a bit better. Also, a rubber plated microsub/suicide sub could be pretty neat, because it's essentially invisible to sonar in small amounts.

You should make the spinblocks spin the oposite way, the ship is climbing because the rams are pushing it up, if it comes in contact with a surface that makes it easy to climb (like the sides of a plunderer), it will do so. If you reverse the spin it'll throw the ship lower in to the water where it is more protected and it can hit the usually softer underbelly of ships where there is usually ammo and AIs.

It seems rail guns don't require gunpowder to work anymore, neither the extra coils on the shells themselves, they work just with regular shells. From what i can tell it makes them more expensive, but smaller in volume. Shields don't care about shell speed anymore, not completely sure about the ship's speed though. Thank you for the video. I have a few ideas how this thing could come to be. Chaos canon: basically a daemon engine made from scrap for a khormate cult because summoning a fragment of your god and giving it a tank to fight your battles isn’t very manly, alternatively a punishment for repeat failures. Lathrixian empire canon: Lathrix showed a video of the kraken drill submarine to his design team. He said “Make our own, but smaller and cuter” and they delivered. Scrapper canon: Sort of robot dogs from a line of “industrial pets”, because finding a pet that can live in a bombed out desert with sharp scrap metal, land mines, and other dangerous things is hard. Probably would go with the third because that seems like a workable option. Massive autonomous steam rollers that were retrofitted for naval combat, but are still treated like pets by the crappers.
