Very yummy pillav (& not biryani). Pillav (also known as Palau or Pulao) is different from biryani . Pillav is cooked and mixed with rice. Where as biryani is white rice (80-90 % cooked) and veg or non veg layered as well as fried onions and fried whole masoor. Last layer of fresh coriander, food colouring and/or saffron liquid and ઘી or butter poured on rice. So just to remember pillav and biryani are two different recipes.

That is truly a stick to your ribs kind of food, as long as the peppers don't burn my mouth. I have just about gone vegan. All the people in these meat factories getting the COVID 19 virus just makes me kind of sick. I feel like it's on the meat now. I love fried veggies and rice.
