Latigo: Mpuuga should not have taken the money

Guys we're missing the bigger picture, why is no one talking about this current speaker of parliament. It seems she's got so much unlimited money on her disposal and the question is, where does she gets authority to be so extravagant when our economy is dwindling, we live through foot to mouth, struggling to pay medical bills, we can't afford anymore to return our children to school because our businesses have been closed down by URA for reasons of over taxation yet we hear these spoiled MPS awarding themselves these hundreds in millions of money. Does the president really understand what's going on in our parliament. Is it right, is it fair that he lets these already privileged individuals live such an extravagant lifestyle at the expense of the majority, struggling Ugandans. Is that what took the president to the bush, really?. I am heart broken and, it's morally wrong.

Hon. Latigo is totally wrong. The process of compensation of former LOPs is ongoing, and we will see if he will reject his pay. Rt. Hon. Francis Butagira ,the speaker 1981-85, received his official vehicle just recently, so let Hon. Latigo, be patient and wish well his colleague LOP.

Now days it seems tax collected from people is there to be used in self-interest of leaders in power even without thinking about people who gives that out. Uganda really God blessed us with a lot of money where by u find all 500 and plus mps are driving more expensive cars plus on top of that finding that government again gives people who left leadership most expensive cars as gifts. But God help our leaders even to have heart of thinking about the people they lead coz we still ve people sleeping hungry, others no getting treatment on top of that having girls using soil to pad themselves as if our country is the poor one yet u blessed it with richness
