Agreed that this cop is doing a good job. But, when California politicians spend $29 BILLION, EACH YEAR, on illegals, then that's $29 billion that could be spent building a TON of affordable housing units (and other valuable services) for AMERICAN CITIZENS. And now that Cali is a "sanctuary state" that $29 billion will only increase. It's a crying shame that scumbag politicians allow this to happen, but until the citizens of Cali wake up and vote those politicians out--and vote in politicians committed to HELPING AMERICANS--then it's going to continue to be the same sorry status quo. And to add insult to injury, Los Angeles decides to raise taxes to address the homeless problem?! Are you fucking kidding me?! I'm telling you, so long as you have a bunch of bleeding-heart politicians that won't put Americans before illegals, then ultimately the citizens who are the suckers. WAKE UP!

How can you say "not anymore?" Most cops are still good people. It's just the criminal black community who's trying to paint a negative picture of law enforcement. The whole country is starting to see through that though. Sure there have been bad cops. There have been bad everything. The majority of police are good. The solution is this; if a person doesn't like bad cops then that person should not put themself in situations that involve police. Sooner or later a person might have a "bad cop" respond to the call.

I feel sorry for him to be honest, he clearly wants to help, he wants to change these peoples' lives, and he's happy to do it himself if necessary. I was a city manager and the vast majority of the officers that I worked with were similar to Officer Joseph here.. wonderful, caring, smart and professional. Amen to that! Thank you to these men and women who are attempting to save our cities. In my view many politicians come in with very positive intentions but get sucked into the vortex of a party agenda. Common sense and intelligence often are sacrificed in favor of group think and the desire to remain in office. This officer is truly a saint and a hero in my eyes. Frank

Well, I wish that more city personnel would be serious about creating affordable housing in Los Angeles and other counties!! Besides obvious mental health and drug issues, housing is too expensive, even for working class people.
