Daddy I miss u playing this song when mommy was upset with u! I will never forget the flowers, candy, cards, and Diet Pepsi u brought for both of ur girls. U never forgot about me, I didn’t understand it until I became an mature young adult. Mommy would always fall for it to, sending me to Granny’s after u came home with the goodies. I was too young to know “y’all was gone straighten that shit out” &send me to Granny’s once that album hit the record player. U had the baddest stereo system back then. I promised u on ur death bed I would take care of ur favorite girl. It’s been two long years Daddy u left us, but u left us with memories& prior to ur death u still made sure ur favorite girls would be straight when u left us. I were all about straightening things out for the better. I take good care of Mommy as I should. U made it so easy Daddy, hope u Resting well in heaven!
