Together with me and all the seasons (MaxTul is everything). Dark Blue Kiss (because Kiss me again is a mess but Dark Blue Kiss was everything. Plus, best BL intro song). Friendzone (It's not only BL there's so much drama there impossible not to LOVE, plus we get to see one of the twins being all mature hehe). Fish upon the sky (this is so funny it is impossible not to like). Theory of Love (One very well written drama full of tears! OffGun acting was impeccable). 3 will be free (Bisexuality visibility finally) Make it right (a little old already but it shows the begginings of Ohm acting on BL plus everyone misses Frame and Book). Talking about Ohm, Bad buddies the series with Nanon hahaha they are so hot together! Lastly, Diary of Tootsies (it's kinda old at this point but it was one of the first ones I ever watched and even if it's a situations comedy show, it offers a take on real and deep matters that affect the LGBTQ+ community).

When foreigners ask for PURE Filipinos, we can barely find them 'cause most of us were mixed with foreign bloods due to the location of the country. Even though we still have a lot of indigeneous people, i still believe that at some point, were mixed with some portion of foreign blood. Me myself belongs to indigeneous group but since our church were build like a fortress with 1748 in the wall only means Spaniards reached our island too. Even our grandmas and grandpas can speak spanish. Even our dialect is with spanish influence. I even heard how our grandparents were enslaved like forced to get stone from the sea (regardless if the person is young or old) to build the wall that we see in the fortress now served as our church.

Filipinos were far from "enslaved"... there was no slavery* in the Philippines, unlike our Latin American counterparts. In fact, Filipinos (especially the Catholics) were protected by the Laws of the Indies and were Spanish Citizens during the Spanish Era. The only slavery we had was during pre-colonial times with Alipin Saguiguilid and Alipin Namamahay but that was discontinued when the Laws of the Indies was implemented early on during the Spanish Era, sometime in late 1500s to early 1600s, and even our pre-colonial era's alipins were more of serfs than slaves. What you've heard was actually "polo y servicio", a program similar to mandatory community service or ROTC today, where men would have to sign up for one month (exactly 40 days) a year to do community development service, mainly building public and civic buildings like churches, bridges, roads, etc. It's just one month of annual community service between 18 to 40 years of age. It's not exactly "enslaved" as you've suggested. And yes, volunteers were paid with daily wages... But I can see why younger people might think it's "slavery" coz it's mandatory and it's annual.. but it's far from "slavery".

Spanish may have a lot of influences in PH languages, Bahasa and other Asian languages also. There are words as well that we have in common, it's just that spelled differently or slighly modified.
