Do you want to know the sad truth? Chavacano means language of the slaves. I'm from zamboanga city and I speak 4 local dialects/languages including chavacano and also, hablo suficiente español. I know the history why as you commented it is a weird language but there's a history why it went to that. So proud of tha language but they don'treally know the deeper identity of the chavacano language.

It breaks my heart everytime they show a scene of a comfort women where japanese soldiers abused them. It's based on a true story tho, even upto this day, they are still comfort women who are still alive.
