Also, Dennis Trillo starred in a historical film of some sort (or maybe a series?), Where the character he potrays dresses and pretends as a girl. I haven't really watched it, but based on the comments I came across that time, he acted so well as if he really is a girl, with the subtle movements commonly associated with a woman. He also starred in a teleserye with a controversial storyline at the time, titled My Husband's Lover, and he was so good. I didn't follow the series religiously, but the few episodes I watched made me root for his character. I'm not a big fan of Dennis, but all these projects he has taken proves that he really is a versatile actor, and is willing to take on a challenge to further his craft. PS: The mother of three guys in the Voltes V team, the one who rode the jet and was shot down, is also in My Husband's Lover. Carla Abellana is also one of the main characters alongside Dennis Trillo.

Wonderful reaction from the two pretty ladies... The anime version of this is part of 80's and 90's generation in the Philippines and its part of our childhood.. and why the Prince is not that evil look because there has a reason of it (you can check the Anime Version comparison to the Actors on live adaptation) and Ibarra his character has a big part of the story.. To start he is the Father of the 3 brothers (steve, big bert and little Jon) and the Horns has a biggest part also of the story... and The kid is Little Jon he is a Boy Genius thats why he is part of the voltes team...

My favorite childhood anime! Very sad first episode😢 I must agree with them. He’s too cute and pure looking to be a villain. I wish they should have casted John arcilla as the main villain but I understand their decision because the main villain in the anime was also cute😂

Dennis Trillo as you know him as Crisostomo Ibarra, will portray Dr. Ned Armstrong / Baron Hrothgar in the series. As you can see, he's a Boazanian aristocrat who was born without horns.

In his home planet of Bozania, the non-horned people are slaves so he had to wear fake horns because he is a prince. But his rival, Zambojil [played by Christian Vasquez] exposed his deception that's why he became a fugitive.

I get the comment about the actors but yeah, the graphics is actually good although some effects weren't on point. I like the honest reaction for some info, this Voltes V Series is very special for Filipinos and Japanese people as it was originally aired back in 1977 as a beloved Anime. GMA and Toei partnered so that the original feels of the Anime will be retained in the Live-action series. If you feel the characters are too young or too bland, that's how it really should be. A good example of a guapo actor playing a good and bad role is Leonardo de Caprio in Man in the Iron Mask. Unfortunately the actor playing Prince Zardoz has as you mentioned too little bad vibe, while the beautiful rubia actress has a strong maldita vibe. The actors need to play their role well, otherwise live action adaptations look like cosplay, which unfortunately is the case with Voltes V Legacy.
