Latino is neither a race or ethnicity but its its s term that imposed on the people South America by Napoleon III for Columbus colonial reasons i.e staking a claim to Spains former colonies.

Does that mean you're only white if you're American? That's the logic, in Brazil, for example, there are blondes, dark-skinned, mixed-race, yellow and black people. You can't define this color in a single race, it's not obvious.

The reason Latino cannot be considered its own is because there people that are mixed with white, black and native American and they don’t speak Spanish at all. These people are the same mixture as those that speak Spanish. They may speak Dutch, English or Creole.

I still don’t know how this isn’t common knowledge, it’s not a secret but somehow people in the USA have a hard time understanding what Native American is, Native American means native to the whole continent, it’s like these people think that that natives in the USA were the only indigenous people in all of the Americas or only people ever lived in the western hemisphere, their brain shuts off 🤣

A person from any country in the Americas where languages derived from Latin (Spanish, French and Portuguese) are spoken. It has nothing to do with race. Asian is too broad. You're basically grouping Indian, East, Middle East, & South East asians. And I don't know if you have seen any of them but their skin colours are different
