The English translation was pretty accurate but guys if you could only understand the song itself in its language, it reveals the true beauty and pain in each sentence. You listen to this when you want to feel heartbroken even if you're not. Lols that's the impact of this song. I remember they had a field concert and everybody was just crying to this song.

Sana is more of wishing for something. Like, "Sana sinabi mo na..." is "I wish you said that..." Umaasa is more hoping for the future. Like, "Umaasa ako na..." is "I am hoping that..." But they're both technically the same meaning. Just different usage.

I watched this guy live and he explained why his artist name is called “I Belong To The Zoo”. I’m not sure if it is his ex singing but it’s from the funny happy birthday song: “happy birthday to you, *you belong to the zoo* with the monkeys and the donkeys and the gorilla is you” I know. I’m happy you got to react to him! When I first heard him, his voice is just filled with so much emotions. Keep it up Waleska and Efra!

“Sana” is an expression denoting the concept of “i wish”, and said by itself means exactly that, “i wish” “sana sinabi mo” sinabi from the root “sabi”- to say. “sinabi” is past tense. “i wish you said...” Sana umasa umasa is from the root word “asa”, hope or expect. “hindi na sana umasa”. hindi is a negation - i wish i did not hope/expect/wish for

Do more blind choices on the wish bus. I think it would be quite interesting, good chance for very pleasant surprises. Wale was right with her guess of the translation of “sana”, it is wish or hope. And Efra was right with “ngiti” too, it really is “smile” 😆 Simpler melodies are more digestible, easier to follow along or recall esp with those with good hooks, making the message easier to be delivered. The focus becomes the story and the melody is just the vehicle that carries it to the listener. I Like Wale’s styling in this video. Enjoy when you both try the Tagalog words, or guess the meanings... Maybe you could do a video on the differences in pronunciation of Spanish spoken in different regions. Sounds interesting.

"Asa" is the root word Umasa- Esperar Ako'y Umasa-Espero; Ako/Yo Ika'y Umasa-Esperas; Ikaw/Tú Sila'y Umasa-Esperan; Sila/Ellos o Ustedes Tayo'y Umasa-Esperamos; Tayo/Nosotros Aasa is the Future Tense The 'y comes from the word "ay" and it is used to connect topics, comments and verbs to shorten words, it is used very often in the Tagalog Language. Tagalog is easy, just use the Personal pronouns + the Verb and ur done😊

You add "sana" to a sentence when you wish or hope that your statement would happen or would have happened. So "sana sinabi mo na hindi mo ako mahal" is "i wish you said you didnt love me". It also works for a future statement such as "sana maganda ang panahon mamaya" (i wish that the weather later would be nice". "Umaasa" (present active) or "umasa" (past) is a verb which means "hoping". So in a way both sana and umasa are similar but they have different functions in a sentence.

I'm learning French and I learned it by listening to French music. You have to know the basics of course for it to work. So I learned the basic grammar rules and conjugations of common verbs, pronunciation rules, etc. Then the rest of it was listening to French music and examining the lyrics to learn new words, expressions and more complex constructions. I also started watching series and movies in French. So yeah, learning a language through music can actually work, but you still need to put in some effort.

I'm a filipino who speaks Spanish. The word "sana" is closely translated as "ojalá" "Umasa" is the past tense from the root word "asa" which means to hope. You can't conjugate the word Sana as it's not a verb just like ojalá.
