All went through a lot and all had struggled together. They are a true underdog story. Solar 50 auditions, Moon scammed and told to rap. Wheein unnoticed and of course Hwasa. But they started with 0 fanbase little to none resources financially, people against their debut. The only one that believed in them was their ceo from rbw. He believed in them and let them be themselves. They are a self made group and worked their asses off to get to where they are

Mamamoo really made a statement at their first MAMA appearance. Personally, I found Solar so stunning, and just reminded everyone why she is such a quintessential performer. The way she commits to the performance, especially when you know the adorkable leader she is off the stage, is just really admirable and attractive.

Yesss Mamamoo really is breaking standards in the industry. Apart from Solar & Hwasa as you mentioned in your vid, Moonbyul is very very androgynous in the way she acts, dance and dress which is very rare for Asian female idols and Wheein is openly supportive of the LGBT community (MV with LGBT plot & her Honey cover w/o changing pronouns).

that part waleska brought up, about all four having solo sections... that was pretty much their big point in this performance, and something they've been huge about at their concerts, being able to show off each member's individuality and then how they come together as a cohesive whole and manage to compliment each other so well. they were only given 8 minutes for this performance but insisted everyone gets a solo segment, anyway even their outfits were done to show that off, each one displayed each members personal tastes and styles, yet managed to look good together

As strong as Solar is doing pole dancing, her instructor that she did double pole dance on her channel is insanely strong. Hope you can react to that video. You also need to check out 2NE1 Mama 2015 in which I can see CL being a big influence on Hwasa in term of stage presence.

2018 Mamamoo Mama remains iconic. That was also the first time they've attended Mama. Also, hwasa's performance with loco was from a different concert.

This was the performance that made me pay attention and fall hard for Hwasa! Then I eventually fell in love with all MAMAMOO members! If you want to hear live vocals & acoustic try listening to Hwasa and Woogie “In The Fall” live version she sings while Woogie plays the keyboard. Also Hwasa’s other slow song “Be Calm” she sings with a guitarist. Lastly Hwasa featured with live band OneWe, song is “Q” all members of OneWe play instruments and sing live too. They’re from the same company as MAMAMOO. I think you’ll really enjoy those songs! I personally love live vocals with live musicians

Actually, it was MAMAMOO and their management family that made that possible. The award giving body that they attended there gave other groups better treatment allegedly. Some groups were given a lot of exposure time. As for mamamoo, THEY WERE ONLY GIVEN 8 MINUTES TO PERFORM! compared to the other groups who were given much much more. But THEY MADE THOSE 8 MINUTES FEEL LIKE THEIR CONCERT! that is the magic of mamamoo!

Most of the reason why Solar's pole dancing was kind of shaky was because 1. She was wearing stockings which increased her friction with the pole and 2. The pole was quite unstable in itself But she still slayed massively though

Couldn't agree more with y'all. In kpop, male idols don't really have to worry about their weight just like Amber said , they just need a fandom. But female idols are totally different. Mamamoo's company is literally the best of the best, their CEO let them do whatever they want. Don't put them on extreme diet. Don't force them to do plastic surgery if they don't want to. Don't tell them how to look/dress/act. It's really fascinating to me. Kinda sad but I just know that 90% of kpop idols have eating disorder. ☹️☹️

Would love to see y'all react to some people who have come forward and spoken about their training experience in the Korean industry. KZbinrs Grazy Grace, Mone Fukuhara, and Soobeanie_ have posted many video talking about the training they went through and overall just experiences. I've been in the dance industry since I was young, and I've been auditioning for K-Pop companies since 2015. Even during the audition process it's very cutthroat and mentally straining.
