This a living proof that when the most introverted person flourished because of a great support system. Chapters PH is again the people behind this. Chapters PH has been the people behind SB19's music videos. Felip (Ken) is also the creative director of this MV. The possible reason why Ken chose his real name name, Felip, for his solo debut is because he is finally fully embracing himself with this song which is in Bisaya, the language from where he really came from. He's been really vocal recently to his fans about him loving himself and hoping that the fans would love themselves as well.

Felip/Ken went independent on this one. And if you noticed he just made his YT channel a week ago prior to dropping this single. Chapter PH is incharge of the cinematography. The same team who did the What? MV. The co-Music Producer Joshua Nase is Pablo’s Brother. And Felip himself is the executive producer. I heard that Ken decided to officially release this song due to the warm response of the fans who witnessed his live performance of this song during the recent SB19 BITZ concert online(It’s true, I witnessed it first hand). They shoot this MV for 14 hours just this September. Ken is also a fashion Icon hence the wardrobe. And as of my opinion, not just because I’m a Ken biased but because RNB is also my vibe, and I’m a dancer too. This is a triple Kill for me.He had me head over heels with this one. This song is on repeat for 4 days now. I am really happy that you finally reacted to Palayo. I have been waiting for this. Thank you so much and I’m super glad you liked his song. BTW, he is singing in Bisaya language here.

Ken really did fantastic on his solo single. It was so well made even though it was planned and shoot in a very short time. Among the members, he was the quiet but straightforward one. Thats why if you’re read the english translation of this song, you can say he’s brutally honest. It is very him. We saw his authenticity in his music. He is spontaneous and well-rounded. As previously mentioned by other commenters, he really didn’t plan this solo single. Their concert was done last august 1, 2021. Then our country has been placed on quarantine few days after the concert. His co-choreographer and MARK RANQUE(stylist) were interviewed and they spilled how it was so sudden with very short time preparation. They were notified of Felip plans around 27th of august. And got to practice the dance routine for. Day or so. Then they shoot the mv on the 1st of august. The dancers with him were the one during the live concert. You know, one of the many reasons why SB19 is so successful, is because of their individuality. They have different personalities, by this i mean extreme difference. People have their own preference wether it be for music, appearance, or genre. And amazingly they work so well as a group. They have impeccable teamwork and undeniable good chemistry.

One of the reasons why I like Felip is his vocals. That low register and how he expresses himself when he sings on that register is admirable. Nowadays where belting high notes seem to be the focus, which isn't bad really, I actually appreciate a singer who's low vocals are powerful and expressive. It's a good contrast to the one who sings on a high note. Plus, Ken's dance moves and sense of fashion make this entire production world-class. I'm so proud of him.

It was really unexpected when they announced that Felip will be the first SB19 member to debut solo coz in actuality, he is a very shy, reserved and introverted person. So what gave him courage to do it? Tank B. said in an interview that when Ken saw the A'TIN's good reception and overwhelming support on his first performance of Palayo in the BITZ con, that's when he said "Let's do it. Let's make a MV." The fans' support fueled him to push through and muster up the courage to make a music video, because at first he's not planning to make one in the first place. So seeing you guys genuinely enjoyed his music that he worked hard for makes me so happy for him. And surely, this will boost his confidence more. Ken used to be insecure of his voice cos of the stereotype that people who can't reach high range aren't really good of a singer.. it was Pablo who assured him that it's not on the range, but on techniques. Ken released his single as a solo artist, fully supported by the group and the management ShowBT. But in no way the agency is involved. As we can see, he used his real name here, FELIP. Song produced by him. So I don't think every member will have their own single, unless they produce it themselves. Also, Palayo was first seen on the Back in the Zone concert. A lot of fans were genuinely surprised how his own song turned out so we requested for it to be released, and Ken did. Fans also requested that this song should reveal his tattoo and some skin. Thus the outfits. Palayo is a gift to our fandom. 🤧

The only live performance you probably haven't watched is 'The One' their ad song for Dunkin Donut...but it wasn't a serious live performance...they were kinda playing around...but then the vocals were still on point on that one...

The song lyrics are in Bisaya dialect. 😊 The first time they released the song, I immediately listened to it on KZbin Music. And even though I’m a Filipino, I didn’t understand the song coz I don’t speak Bisaya dialect. I speak Tagalog and Bicol-Rinconada dialect. 😅 So I was like, oh! Interesting and I love the beat so much! 👌🏻💙 Until someone tweeted the lyrics with Tagalog translation in it. ♥️

Really love the reaction guysss. Ken-biased here and I’ve been in cloud nine since he released this MV. I cannot forget his performance in the BITZ concert and was wondering when he is going to release it. Voila! Ken heard us and gave us this art. My gosh!
