Arijit Singh is on younger gen side in terms of debuting and all. These singers like Shreya, Sunidhi, Sonu Nigam, KK etc were prominent in same era. Absolutely loved your reaction to this. Sunidhi and Shreya combo is one of the best and one of the rarest combo we get in bollywood or on stage. Mainly because it's very difficult to match their schedules and also its the matter of budget and the song has to be very special. They have sang different songs for same movies though.. there was a time when almost every movie album that comes out would have atleast one shreya and one sunidhi song in it. This particular song is from the movie named " Dor" . Please do check out the original movie song and the movie is also a good one to watch. And the answer to your wondering about Shreya and Sunidhi's friendship is that they are not best friends but have a good friendship, respect each other. They support each other's work whenever one of them releases New song or album. We do wait and cherish their instagram conversation whenever it happens. Arijith has collaborated with both shreya and sunidhi. And a special thanks to the person who suggested this song 😀

If you want to listen to a spiritual/religious song with a choir, then I would recommend Ekadantaya vakratundaya (by Shankar Mahadevan). And do listen to the studio version. The live doesn't involve the chorus.

Don't miss out on the man who started shaking the maracas (or whatever it is) in the beginning. He is Salim Merchant, the man behind 'bottling the magic'. He and his brother creates awesome jam sessions. You can watch bhoomi. On the religious congregation song part, there a lot of different variety (genre) available. You can try 'kirtan' which is quite popular in the west (yes among europeans). But must watch it when 'khol' (percussion) is being played with it.
