Jerry at CGM makes a great budget option that has more adjustment and cheaper. Get this, its made in the USA too. I'll take my Sidewinder any day!

@@MichiganGreatOutdoors it's everything you like about this and more. I would definitely look into one. Metal free except for the G-hooks on the leg straps. Rope belt and oplux bridge. I tried everything available at the Mobile Hunters EXPO in Chattanooga last summer. Besides the TN Nano, this was the most comfortable and a fraction of the Nano's price.

I know Gerry has been making saddles for a long time, I just never snagged one, I didnt love the looks of them to be honest. Not saying there is anything wrong with them they just never cought my eye, Same with buzzard roost, everyone seems to love those too and they just seem kinda blah to me.

Looks a lot like a tx5 minimalist go figure🤔😉. Like the saddle I use but wish I’d bought a method 2 as that two panel is killer for back support. This maverick looks great for hybrid hunting!!!! Great review as always👍🏼

I cant really answer this one for you, the Maverick is a single panel saddle and the method 2 is a 2 panel, very different options and your going to get different opinions based off your weight / body type. So far I believe you cant go wrong with either one. Sorry this doesn’t answer your question. Maybe in deer season I will do an all day sit in both over the course of 2 days and report back.
