Let's be honest. All of the ladies of Excape are talented in their own right and it includes Latocha. Her issue then and now is the fact that she never wants to take accountability for her actions. She has always taken advantage of her platform by doing things that were underhanded and deceiving and that is why when she tried to go solo after breaking up the group by having her sister telling intentional lie knowing that it would cause disharmony her solo project was scratched. What's done wrong will always end wrong every time. If you watched her sister's body language as she spoke to their mother you knew that every word she spoke was true. You also got to see how she behaved when she wasn't around her mother which let you know that she has a personality for every occasion. I wish her well in her solo endeavor and I hope that she realizes that you can fool some people some of the time but you can't fool God ever. She hurt her sister and the group with her constant deception and until she rights those wrongs she will not fully evolve in her solo success.

Almost every song on that album was led by Latocha and that is after they changed management. She and her sister were thick as thieves and her sister had her back whether she was right or wrong. She knew that candy was being set up for solo deal with the help of JD and that bothered her. Instead of relying on her talent and taking them elsewhere when the deal fell through she and her sister saw fit to intentionally spread lies about candy to damage her reputation in the industry.
