AJ worked for me, but it’s on par with ecostyler imo. Not a necessary buy. Curl La La…a few people have said the same thing. I like the smell! Lol! It’s strong though.

@@LaToyaEbonyHair I can compare the Don't Shrink on my texture (I have like 4-5 different textures) to Eco Argan Oil but it can't withstand the hold of Super Protein, Krystal and Olive Oil in that order because those three especially Super Protein has almost the same hold as Wetline Xtreme Gel.

Curl la la works on my son's 3b hair when it's super wet....that's it. Since it smells good, I just use it here and there as a layer for scent

Yes I love the Clay mask from Bread too but that price has kept me from using it. But I don’t want to DIY everything so… also, I may try that refresher spray.

Awww if you have the mask you should definitely use it. I’d hate for it to go bad before you get to enjoy it. You definitely feel my pain, though lol! The refresher spray is good, but I only use it to help take down protective styles. I’ve never used it as an actual refresher 🤷🏾‍♀️

I totally agree with you about Aunt Jackie's Curl La La on 4c hair. IT JUST ISN'T IT! I like the Don t Shrink for my finger coils and using the 3 tier brush to define my curls. I also have to pair old fasioned hair grease before I use the Don't Shrink. Actually, the only product that has worked is Camile Rose Twisting Butter. It's soft, defined and pricy.

TP smell sounds similar to Crème of Nature which has a very strong cologne smell too. I only got to try it once and unfortunately, it was too much for me & it lingers. 😅😩

YES, it lingers for days lol! I’ve actually only tried a sample packet of Crème of Nature and didn’t notice the smell as much. TPH I immediately noticed. If you like the smell, it would be good that it’s long lasting.

I thought I’d be able to ignore after conditioning thinking the smell would be different and it wasn’t ! 😩🤣🤣😑 I started trying to style thinking it would go away & I started getting nauseous so I had to rewash my hair several times just to get rid of the smell… 😅

I find it to be drying as well! The only gel I’ve tried that didn’t dry as much is Uncle Funky’s, but I have to pair it with a mousse because it doesn’t have much hold imo.

Latoya, Mixed Chicks "Second Day Hair" mousse is great for refreshing a wash and go. They also make "Hair 4 Days", mousse and spray for refreshing a wash and go.

For your wash n go have you tried Xtreme Pro-Expert by Wetline, ONLY the clear one? It works for me and my daughters 4C hair and my hair is the real 4C...QRSTUVWXYZ. :) BUT I love my strains.
