I disagree honestly I think the licorice is what makes dior sauvage elixir what it is and don't listen to people that say dior sauvage smells like chemicals they clearly haven't tried dior sauvage is one of the best selling fragrances for a reason I do some what like the lattfa brand

I have Elixir, my whole reason for buying these is to use as home spray and diffusers. It’s cheaper than taking my bottle of Dior and using it as a diffuser. I like how Elixir smells, so I want it to always linger in my home, my car, and work space. Which is why I opt for these cheaper options.

I've got both, I prefer Asad, much more likable, smoother, less spicy, cheaper. The vanilla in Asad is much better. I don't reach for Enigma Une at all and plan to give it away

I don’t know what you talking about tho but enigma une last way longer , asad is a good everyday scent , enigma is straight up cold weather scent . It smells richer than asad . And you actually have to allow asad macerate when you get it

Hands down Asad is better than Enigma. As Ash pointed out, you need half of the former to get the same effect but also, in the UK at least, Asad is almost half the price. It's also a fantastic match to the DSE. So much so that I sold my bottle of that as it wasn't needed.

It's interesting to watch your presentation simply because for me, Asad is much weaker than Enigma (sprays for sprays). The scent profile of Asad is just a little sweeter than Enigma hence having Enigma slightly more spicier. Enigma last much longer than Asad on skin and clothes.

PSA for Asad. YOU NEED TO LET YOUR BOTTLE MACERATE FOR A FEW MONTHS! Spray it 10 times (or just wear it every now and then) and let it sit. On the fragranceclones subreddit there are so many people that hate Asad when they first get it because the clove, licorice, pepper is extremely powerful and off putting. After a few months maceration, it smells really good.

Not really. Keep them in a cool dark place and they will stay fine for years and years. Some fragrances will change slightly with age but they don’t go “bad”

I used Asad and i liked it and bought sauvage élixir without trying it because i thaught it was gonna be a better version and because of the "throw back feel" as i am a huge fan of classic perfumes but i was dissapointed with élixir ! Although its similar to Asad it was too harsh and had a cheap semll in background similar to the original sauvage ! I thaught there must have been something wrong with me but i sée that many people had the same experience !

Am I the only one that thinks Sauvage Elixr and it's clones are extremely overrated? I've worn it several times and haven't liked it any of those times. It also gives me a headache even if I only use one or two sprays. It also stinks if you do any kind of manual labor while wearing it, as soon as you start to sweat it mixes with your BO and makes a terrible smell

Sponsored not by Asad of course, hardly needs any promotion, but by the other one. If that's the case, maybe you should let us your audience know, Ash?
