I have a studio k360mod , and I have bought a 260/360 memomatic lace carriage , but I think this is not the right carriage for my machine .... I tried to do lace and it's simply not working ....the needles are locked when I try to slide the carriage, ... welcome any help ... thanks

Yes I too have the Studio 360 model and the L2 lace carriage and I really like the lace that it produces.

Great video, I have both brother and studio machines, I love them all. Its been awhile since I've done lace on the Studio but I was thinking that you had to use edge pins when doing lace. Keep up the great job!

I'm not a Silver Reed expert, but I do not think that the 360 had a lace carriage option. The lace carriages that are sold separately are, I believe, for later models like the 700 in this video. Can someone here point us to more information? Also, we do have a knitting club in Austin area that meets the second Saturday of the month (next weekend) and 1 p.m. at Crystal Lake Baptist Church in Leander. We have a demonstration and a group of very nice knitters. I would love to see you there.

Yes. The card would be different, though, because Brother does lace differently. I have a lace like that for Brother in my Bargello Lace pattern, available at www.dianaknits.com.

just wondering about the hole punching (or square filling for electronics) the video shows the second row as 4,6,8,and 10. and the forth row as 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11. yet on the rest of the card the left hand side seems to show the second row repeat as "2", 4, 6, 8, and 10. am i missing something or is the first repeat different than the rest of the card on the left hand side? and would it all be the same using the mylar with the electronic studio? and is there a book that has the other pattern ripple laces in it? thanks

I don't know about that model. It may have been named that as it was imported, and actually be a more familiar model. What I'd do if I had one is go on the biggest knitting machine list in Yahoo Groups and ask the group if they can tell you exactly what the model is. Once you find the model, there are some websites with various Silver Reed manuals. I think a little Googling will locate the information at that point.

Diana i just got a studio 360 from eBay and plan to order the lace carriage for it. I just want to verify that my machine and lace carriage will do the same.

You know, I don't know. The Studio 360 is a machine from quite a while ago, and it's one of the models I have not owned. Can someone answer this question? Is there a lace carriage for the 360 that is comparable to the one available with the newer models?

I have the Studio 360K and I use the LC2 carriage with it. It knits just fine.
