This is an easy tutorial on how to crochet a lattice stitch pattern. This tutorial will use a single crochet stitch and a chain stitch. The final result of the pattern resembles a mesh fabric or a trellis crochet stitch. Similar to a diamond stitch.
You can use any type of yarn with a corresponding crochet hook. I used Sugar and Cream cotton yarn and a 6.00mm crochet hook:
