Top notch performance. Hats off to you all. Musicality, ensemble, intonation, engagement, all 10 out of 10. I was listening to the same work sung by l'escolania del escorial (all boys), also live, from a few years ago, and this Gondwana Voices version is noticebly better all round (although the escorial all-boy altos manage a slightly more satisfying timbre). What a pity though, that the girls outnumber the boys so greatly. This is sad, but inevitable unless boys-only choirs are promoted alongside mixed childrens choirs. So many musically inclined boys miss out on the opportunity to perform this glorious repertoire. The girls have their whole lives to sing soprano and alto parts, the poor boys only have 4 or 5 years at most.
