From 23 to 26 May 2019, there have been parliamentary elections in the European Union. During the election campaign, the Catholic bishops have received a lot of attention. In the pre-campaign, they called on the electorate to cast their vote to those who intend to follow their motto: "Re-launch the European Project, taking care of the environment and promoting sustainable development". Now, both the Catholic bishops and the Jesuits are asking the countries of Europe to vote for those who say they will adhere to this strategy. However, the bishops and Jesuits are taking a step further: they are moving for the recognition of Sunday as the weekly rest day in Europe. (Web Catholic Culture, November 23, 2016). They want all the countries and peoples of Europe to gather around Sunday as a day of rest, and that it becomes a day of the family and to take care of the earth and rest the planet. The unions of the EU are raising their voices in favor of Sunday as the rest day for the family, and as we have seen in many nations of Europe and the rest of the world, many children and young people are striking in their schools, going out to the streets to manifest themselves for the environment. The environmental movement is now becoming a popular movement, and Pope Francis says in his environmental encyclical "Laudato Sí", that just as the planet needs to rest, we should all rest on Sunday (page 237 of Laudato si). Probably, you wonder what the bishops have to do and Sunday with the theme of the environment. If you know a little about history, you will know that the Catholic Church has always been thirsty for power and throughout history has intruded into politics in one way or another. In the past, he imposed faith through force, killing during the inquisition all those who did not think like them. Now, his methods are more subtle. They want to introduce as religious law the religious observance of Sunday (Catholic day of rest) and disguise it as a law to protect the environment and the well-being of the family. On the other hand, it is curious that in 1991, the Club of Rome (a group of individuals from the "elite"), published a book called "The first global revolution." In that book, they admitted having invented the climate change agenda as a "common enemy" of humanity, to unite the world Take a look at the following statement from the 1991 book: "In the search for a common enemy against which we can unite, we came up with the idea that pollution, the First Global Revolution, the threat of global warming, water scarcity, hunger and things like that, would fit. In their totality and their interactions, these phenomena constitute a common threat that we must all face together. "(The First Global Revolution - A report of the Council of the Club of Rome, p.75). As you can see in the previous quote, the Club of Rome admitted that "the idea occurred to him" that "global warming" (now called "climate change" because the facts show that the Earth is not heating as much as they said ) could be used as a "common enemy" to unite the world. "It seems that men and women need a common motivation, that is, a common adversary against whom they can organize and act together" (The First Global Revolution - A report of the Club of Rome Council, page 70). As stated in the book, they clearly had a plan to try to unite the world and it would take a "common enemy" to fulfill this plan. So this has been behind the scenes for many years. But obviously, they needed to convert people slowly but surely to this idea that the planet was facing such a threat and that the world needed to unite to be able to "change the world" and "save the planet". There is no doubt that the Club of Rome and the Vatican are united. In a 2015 press release, referring to the Pope's Encyclical, the Club of Rome declared that the Pope speaks of points that are common to what they have already spoken for years. But in reality, they will not be able to save our house, not even with all their human efforts. The planet has reached a point where it has no turning back, just as the Bible said: "Lift up your eyes to heaven and look at the earth. The skies like smoke will vanish and the earth like an old dress will wear out. Its inhabitants like mosquitoes will die, but my salvation will be forever and my justice will not wane "(Isaiah 51: 6) The Bible also predicted in Revelation that the planet would come to an end, and just a little before its destruction, it speaks of an authoritarian politico-religious power that would dominate the world and impose a mark. The mark of the beast is Sunday. The Catholic Church herself says that her action of transferring the Sabbath (Biblical day of rest instituted by God) to Sunday, is the mark of her authority in the religious sphere (The Catholic Record, Ontario, September 1, 1923). However, God in the Bible never recognized this change, therefore, it is a fake with no basis or biblical authority. God blessed the Sabbath and sanctified it, not only after the creation of the world as we can read in Genesis 2: 2, but also in the Ten Commandments reminded us that the Sabbath was his Sabbath (Exodus 20: 8-11) The last Satanic deception will consist in changing the law of God. The Bible predicted a time when this would happen. He warned us not to be deceived: "And he will utter words against the Most High, and he will afflict the saints of the Most High, and he will seek to change the times and the law" (Daniel 7:25). The Bible warned us centuries in advance about this, and now we see how it is being fulfilled. The Catholic Church clearly wishes to impose a mandatory civil Sunday law. This means forced religion, and it should not be like that. Men and women should have the right to follow their own consciences in religious matters. God has promised a new world for all those who love him and are faithful to his commandments. This world will be established after his second coming. "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, because the first heaven and the first earth passed away. And I, John, saw the holy city, which descended from heaven like a bride adorned for her husband. And God will dwell with them and they will be his people and he will be their God "(Revelation 21) When Sunday as a Sabbath is recognized by civil laws, the introduction in Europe and the rest of the world of the mark of the beast will be a fact. We are one step away from this happening, and according to Revelation at that time humanity will be divided into two groups: those who will observe the commandments of God and receive their seal, and those who will observe the commandments invented by men and will receive the mark of the beast. In what group do you want to be? "Remember the Sabbath to sanctify it. Six days you will work and do all your work, but the seventh day is a resting place for Jehovah, your God; Do not do any work in it, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your servant, nor your maid, nor your beast, nor the foreigner who is inside your gates, because in six days Jehovah made the heavens and the earth , the sea, and all the things that are in them, and rested on the seventh day; Therefore, Jehovah blessed the Sabbath and sanctified it "(Exodus 20: 8-11)

This does not take away our responsibility to care for creation. Jesus’ mission was to restore humanity and all creation to its former glory; we must cooperate with this mission here and now. Furthermore, we must feed the hungry and in order to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, quench the thirsty, create houses to shelter the homeless, and so forth, we need a healthy planet to produce such living. It is through a healthy and beautiful earth that we manifest God’s love for humans and in this way we bring souls to Christ. Even the sacraments need material before they become sacraments, i.e. a priest needs bread in order to transubstantiate it into Christ’s Body and Blood. The universe is a sacrament that also allows us to know God more and his attributes, and to encounter his presence (St Ignatius of Loyola); without a healthy planet this cannot be effectively done. Christ wants everyone to live a happy life on earth where we build our relationship with God before it is consummated and fulfilled in eternal life, and in order for this essential process and development here on earth to take place the earth needs to be healthy. It is also in creation-in and through the material world-that we love each other, thus contributing to our sanctification and perfection of our holiness, and ultimately to the salvation of our souls. If the material world dies, how can I give you a gift on Christmas Day? Such is an example of how humans use creation to love one another, and which is why it must be cared for and restored to its former beauty and glory. This is also an act of love for God for it is his LEGO set and mansion we are looking after; creation was made for God’s glory, and if it isn’t well looked after it will not reflect his glory and give him due glory and foster our adoration.

This message appeals greatly to those whose hearts are humble and who follow their heart in the hope that our life would follow the warm feelings that a Hallmark Card might offer, such as: “To thine own heart be true!” However, there is a problem with all that!
