Great channel! I’m a fairly new diver living in central Florida so these videos are awesome for planning out which dive to do next. Your footage is beautiful as well! what camera/light rig are using to get such crisp shots?

Hi Kenadie, welcome to the channel! Appreciate the support and positive feedback. Our mission is to educate and enlighten divers about the different dive sites. In month we're planning on visiting central Florida and capturing some unique dive sites in the area. We use various cameras when diving, but our quick grab is the GoPro Hero9 Black with Big Blue video lights. Thank you for watching.

Wow 30' viz seems pretty low for a coral reef area. I thought it would be better there.

A few factors can play a role in visibility at times. Example, weather, currents and tides. Some days you can have 80ft visibility and others 4ft. Paying attention to weather and water conditions help.

what do you think the underwater visibility in your video?
@DiveSquadusa4 жыл бұрын
I believe the visibility was about 30ft that day.

cool video. was this in winter time? I ask cause you were wearing wet suits.

Hi Tom, we're happy to hear that you enjoyed the video. Thanks! We recorded this video a week ago this month in June. The reason we wear the wetsuits is to give us a layer of protection when diving around coral reefs. You don't want to accidentally rub up against something that can either sting or irritate the skin. Thanks for watching!

@@DiveSquadusa Oh great that makes sense. any estimate of what your visibility was there like how far you could see into the distance horizontally? looks a tad murky.
