Her music imo is like the perfect reincarnation of Jazz and Classical music. Majority of people don't listen to either genre but I think this style and combination of the two can bring it back, symphonies especially are criminally underrated and I think have the most beautiful tones, timbre, and overall sound that any music has to offer, so full yet so delicate. This song heavily consists of classical inspiration like the orchestration reminds me of Amore Mio Aiutami by Piero Piccioni and/or maybe Rachmaninov. Definitely less Jazz orientated like "From the Start".

I saw her concert last week with my teenage kids at the Ace Theater. It was packed and she seems to have a lot of loving fans. I was kind of annoyed at the sttart that they were singing with her but in the end I was doing the sing along too. She literally does not have any bad song. I’m so happy my kids introduced me to her music and it’s amazing I don’t get tired of listening to her playlist on a loop. She has a magnetic personality, very beautiful, super talented, with a unique voice and looks pure, that’s why a lot of people gravitate towards her and her music.

This might be the first KZbin comment I've ever made, but I just have to say how much I adore Laufey's creative chord choices and dreamy melodies. I feel like chord progressions in other music genres can't come close to the emotions that jazz music can portray. I've always been a fan of the older jazz, but I am loving how Laufey is giving us contemporary lyrics and concepts with classic jazz themes at the same time.
