I'm 25. Thought I had found the one--the first person whose energy ever felt so perfectly compatible with mine! We talked of our past romantic experiences, and how we were grateful to have learned from them, so we could be our best selves for each other. Six months later, he spends most free time with his ex, and it's clear they've rekindled things. He used me to fill that emotional gap until then. Whilst he still treats me as a friend whenever his "ex" isn't around, it breaks my heart that I'll never be more than his second best. Omg😭 there's a situation I was in that really goes with this song. I used to be with a boy than me named Luke. He used to walk faster and left me behind, I would have to run to keep up with him. When he'd kiss me I'm sure he was thinking of other people. And then he cheated on me, with one of my friends. Then I got kicked from my youth group cause I was trying to fix the whole thing and I didn't wanna hurt everytime I went. But I suppose fate does things to bring us to our best. I was his second best and when he has no one, he wants me back. I'm waiting for the day he tries to bring me back, but I will only reject him because he brought so much pain for too long. All I know about love is that relationship, trauma. I'm so glad I'm moving on from Luke and that youth group. I had a horrible summer lol😅
