Man, i missed back when LankyBox was still good. Back then, it was just straight up zero budget versions of k-pop vids and random unboxing stuffs. Everything was simple and they weren't milking roblox content at all. Honestly sad to see how much they've went downhill. I even saw a comment that noticed how sleep deprived Adam looked like. I actually used to watch Lankybox. I wasn't 5 or anything, this was about 7-8 years old. On their main channel, they used to upload 3 times a day. And I watched it at a time when the real-life era had just passed, they were easing into games. But they had phases and they stuck with them. Just Roblox, or just guess the price, or stuff like that. The main focus shifted respectfully. But now they're just content farming, following the trend too much and uploading so much, hoping for views. This isn't a phase, it's just unpassionate content. I don't watch Lankybox anymore. Concepts are stolen or too clickbaity. It's just not as good as it was before. Also my parents banned me for watching them cause they still made some stupid content back then. But I've never watched them again.

Fun fact that they were already well known in the kpop community back then. Their content were mainly kpop like reaction, low budget mv's etc. Heck, even small kpop groups and soloist have not only reacted to them but also enjoy their content. I am one of the editors for Lankybox. We get one meal every week, which is the worst item on the LankyBox Kitchen menu. We have to work 20 hours a day with no break every day. Then, we get 4 hours of sleep and we are expected to wake up early to get back to work. We are locked in their basement and their videos play on loop 24 hours a day, every day. LankyBox’s guess the prices were pretty entertaining to watch. Sure, they were aimed at kids but if you went ahead and watched them a year or two later, you’d still smile at them. Their gaming videos weren’t super long unedited clips, they actually had good humor in them. I still watch their grow obby video, with them just trolling each other. I always thought that they were depressed, think of it, when they are hated so much to the point where they are forced to stop, will they be happy that they are free from the everyday cycle of waking up, eating, working alot, eating, working alot, eating, working alot until like 1 AM for these videos to be put out, then sleeping, or will they be sad that their career, their job, has gone to waste? Adopt Me had an April Fools update where they gave away this pet for free that was just a rock with a face, and I remember around the same time is when they started introducing that new mascot. I'd totally love to do a deep dive on them. Originally, they made videos making low-budget music videos (mainly consisting of K-POP), and they turned their content to something completely different. I find the phenomenon of their content farming quite interesting, seeing the completely unrelated start of LankyBox that was to an extent, less chaotic and more human-like.
