Believe it or not, Richard Talmadge is doing his own stunts throughout this film. He was born Sylvester Metzetti in Munich and never lost his German accent, which caused him to switch from acting in silents to working behind the camera (sometimes as a director) during the talkie era. He was such a great stuntman, he performed the more difficult stunts for Douglas Fairbanks (no slouch in the do-your-own-stunts department) in THE ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD and THE BLACK PIRATE, among other films.

A fun script and excellent dialogue; the writers do a great job of imitating the slang of the era, and have some choice word plays, starting with "I'm going to ring a belle."
