I moved to Laughlin just over a year ago. Best decision I've made.

If the owners of the Colorado Belle were smart they would rent the rooms as monthly studio apartments for Seniors, charge $500 for west facing and $700 for east facing, allow them a refrigerator and microwave. At least they would get something, Cheaper than Studios in Los Angeles, San Diego and the Bay area

I think there is something wrong with the foundation is what I heard not sure if it's true. But it is sad to see the Bell sit empty I used to work as to pedal wheel coffee shop around 96.

@@DB-ug4yn- If the hotel rooms are safe they should be used as studios, Make something, Same for Las Vegas, any empty hotel or motel in a good area could be used for housing especially if the renter doesn't have many possessions

They say it's hotter than Las Vegas. And that's not easy to believe. Until Laughlin sprang up, Las Vegas was isolated in hundreds of miles in all directions without similar counterpart. Like the middle of the ocean except instead of land you lack water.

I've been to Laughlin probably like 3-4 times in my life, but mostly through my trip to the Grand Canyon. I've stayed at Edgewater, Tropicana, and Harrah's. It's a nice, small quiet town. Across the river is Arizona and is Bullhead City...they have restaurants and grocery markets.

Laughlin is definitely not what it once was. And that's sad.
