It's so important to use what you have first and add maybe an item or two to give it new life! I normally don’t make a video on it, I did last year or the year before share how I stored my ornaments when taking the tree down. I use the black and yellow bins from Lowe’s and a wreath bag for my wreaths and garlands!

Yay! Christmas! ❤ I’ve been stalking HL for Christmas finds for several weeks too! Finally got my hands on some of the flocked ornaments this year. My favorite new find were the ceramic cream and red bells. I am SO looking forward to seeing your new fireplace and how you will be decorating it this year ❤. I sopped in today and bought two wonderful looking lanterns and two of the wreaths. I am planning to set them on my coffee table setting a lantern inside the wreath laid horizontally. I also finally gave in a bought one of the larger round mirrors with the black frame. It was only $54.99 and I am just not going to finish it any cheaper than that, so why not. It’s in my bedroom above my dresser. I love it. I am pretty stocked on Christmas currently and am decluttering my household as I do plan to buy a tiny home eventually but gosh…just so much pretty stuff to be had!

Love your haul. Im going to use mostly.what i have. Doing lots of bells. Deers all my woodland items. Love nature and all thoes colors. Love decorating with twigs and pinecones..i have them in my backyard. Lol free is always good. Also have the red berries. Im excited to decorate, but it is early. I'm absolutely thrilled!!! I don't have a Hobby Lobby or any of the other stores you shop at, but we do have one Walmart in town. I get so excited when you take me to Hobby Lobby virtually. My daughter takes me out of town once a year to go to one and sometimes I'm so overwhelmed I can't process😂. I try to make a list, but over a year waiting I lose it🤦‍♀️. So I have to save all year (can you imagine?) To save as much money as I can to get things. I ran to HL after watching your video. You influence a lot if my purchases😆. My HL only had one wooden bell. The checkout person said I could request a rain check and they would order the item specifically for me. I didn’t know they did that. He said they do it for any item. OMG. I already got brown (light and dark) ornaments and the brown velvet trees to match for tablescape. I got some ribbon but will go back for more. I got a garland for my mantle and some of the beaded crystal picks. I also ordered the small bronze deer from PB and the medium tree but the tree is back ordered until end of Oct. I thought I ordered early enough but I guess not. I missed them last year.

It is crazy no matter how early you order it still never seems like enough! I will say that Pottery Barn does have a tendency to out sell and therefore need to delay shipments. At least it is expected before you plan to use them still!

I’m going to go to HL next week and see what I can find. They were still stocking Christmas last week. You are so right about getting what you want, the earlier the better. I’m so glad I picked up as many of the Fall hydrangeas that I did because by September all of our Hobby Lobby stores were out. I couldn’t find one to save my soul. I like those wooden bells and those red/white ones. I’m not sure what direction I’m going for Christmas yet. Just know I’ll be starting early November as I have my house and my studio to decorate plus all the other things to do and in less than 4 weeks to get it all done. 😅

I bet I can’t get them at my HL and At Home is 2 hrs away! I have a whole order on At Home waiting but only some of the items are available for shipping! Loved this video, I can’t wait for your tree inspo video. I’m actually putting up at least 4 trees so far this year, I’ve gone madd!

Your lucky you found those items. Went to our H.L. today, no gold bells, no wooden bells, barely any velvet ribbon. Found ribbon in the sewing dept. Not on sale 🥴 Good Luck people😂🤣🔔🎄

Thanks for taking us to HL. I have not been back since first of Sept but better go pick up a few things. So many new items. Wish they offered the flock ornaments in traditional colors for those of us that do not decorate with neutrals. I do like the big selection of bells. The glasses are great dupes and love all the ribbon choices. Love the tree candle! Need a few!!! Just a constructive note, your music drowned you out in parts of the video.

I totally agree with you! They do have the green this year that would work! I wish (and hope) they come out with a deep burgundy color, that would be amazing. I appreciate your feedback, thank you!

Hobby Lobby has the Norfolk stems item #6051460. Regular price 8.99 so 4.49 with 50% off. A lot of people aren't aware because they are not on the floor yet. They are on the top shelf at the locations I've been to. These ones are identical to the Afloral and Kirklands stems. I have all three and cannot tell the difference. Much different than the Norfork stems you saw, which I don’t like those as much either.

In your video clips from previous year decorating you have some stick like reindeer and stick like trees in either dark brown or black and I absolutely love them. Do you recall where you got them? Were they Hobby Lobby as well at some point or did you get them elsewhere?

Hey Sarah!! Thank you for the shop with me. I too am soaking up these beautiful days of fall but I appreciate so much knowing what is out and on the shelves. Like you said, if we really want something specific, it is time now to go and shop. Love the small wreaths and the ribbon and those wooden bells are lovely as well as the stems with the pinecones. Tell me, do you remember in amongst the garlands there was one with little gold bells and I was wondering what your thoughts were. Did it look cheap? Was the gold color too bright? Perhaps something that could be touched up with some 'Rub n buff'? Thanks Sarah!! I always appreciate your tips.😊

Thank you so much! I believe I did see a gold bell garland, they had so so many different options to choose from! If you feel it works I would leave it but if it needs to be toned down a little the rub n buff would be perfect!

I used the norfolk pine from Kirklands as a base and then layered it with one I've had from Michaels for quite some time 😊
