PCMTEC is the software. It can be flashed direct via J2534, or via a variety of other handhelds.

@roflex2 factory modes change more than boost. Shift points and timing are noticible. I wouldn't mind a more tame eco mode. The difference between normal and sport modes is huge, eco is a modest difference from normal.

@@TheGregoYatzee the PCMTEC multi tune can change literally anything you want per tune slot. Shift points, redline, throttle pedal map, boost level, max power (via spark or vct timing). You can even change the knock detection strategy if you know its going to be run on a race quality fuel and want the extra timing immediately. Just to demonstrate how flexible it it is you could even disable cold start warm up or adjust your idle speed in a tune slot. All of this is adjustable on the fly with the engine running. You name it, it can be done. This is also available for 15-20 f150 2.7, 3.5, 5.0, 5.2 and 15-23 2.3, 3.7, 5.0, 5.2 Mustang If you are looking for a tuner contact PCMTEC

Dodge gave their camp a 5.7 Hemi V8 option a 6.4 Hemi V8 option a 426 V8 option annnd the Hellcat Durango. I really fuckin wish Ford would've given us a 5.0 Coyote option for the Explorer ST.

It sells really well. It's way cheaper than the competition (in price and quality but yanno), looks great, runs on 87, is pretty quick, pretty spacious, rides nice, great chassis... The bonly real drawbacks to it are the garbage interior and infotainment and the tow rating being too low at 5600lbs. Its more of a budget X5 M40i alternative than a Hellcat Durango competitor.

Haven't checked into the ST up close & personal. Other than a lot of research & hours of video. They seem to be quick & capable of up to 700hp... plus more if you get crazy. I'm happy with my '16 Interceptor Police Utility (Ex Georgia State Patrol Post Commander Unit) 3.5 TT Ecoboost with Special PCM Tuning, Cold Air Intake & Pursuit Transmission Tuning.... As well as the wife's 2016 Explorer Sport 3.5TT Ecoboost... Completely Loaded with all options.... Without a Speed Limiter and a 93 Canned Tune with 3 inch Turbo Downpipes into a nice low rumble high flow exhaust. Very Impressive for sure.
