Hey guys, I’m the new announcer. Just FYI, I loved the previous guys voice. Iconic. Those are some huge shoes to fill. So you all know, I’m rally through and through. I competed in rally myself up to national level, inspired by my WRC heroes Colin McRae and Richard Burns. (Late 90’s Grp.A thru early WRC is my golden era. This, I’m willing to argue about 😂) I totally understand the love for my predecessor. Yep. I’d love a movie voice. But I do love Subaru, and I am a genuine rally guy. So with that in mind I hope you all continue to enjoy the series! 😊 AC

I love Travis so much, I don't care if he doesn't win 1st, I'm just here to watch him and hear his enthusiasm and positivity it is so contagious. Speaks to how much fun you can have in a Subaru in a way podium finishes never communicate.

Same here. I think you be hard-pressed to find more than a handful of people who don't feel the same way about Travis. When someone is as great at basically everything, they aren't full of themselves, they are kind to others, and they seem so positive all the time. If you find someone who doesn't like the person described above. I'm willing to bet it has more to do with them and the unhappiness in their own life.

Brandon will eventually get the recognition he deserves. He was at the top of freestyle mountain biking world and still is at the top whenever he has the time. He just won 1st place at one of the gnarliest mountain biking events in the world -- Red Bull Rampage in October 2024. They need to gas him up more!! The man is a machine at winning major event after event AND dropping the most iconic video parts in the scene. He is quiet but he is the most calculated rider in mountain biking and it's clear how much it transfers over to rally. Glaze over

So glad Launch Control is back! I'm out in East Tennessee and live right down the road from where the Overmountain Rally event was held. I could not tell you how excited I was when I heard about the ARA coming to the East Tennessee area, specifically Newport and Johnson City, TN and surrounding areas. I'll be attending the 2025 Overmountain Rally as well.. if timing and my schedule works out, I plan on volunteering for the event.

Wow! What a great job with the series. I love the longer format, and the intro to rally was great for the new comers. Launch Control is amazing as one of the few longer format ways to experience rally for those that can't make to the events themselves. The candidness is also quite refreshing and man, what a teaser for the next episode.

What does it take to get into rally. I love the sport and love to drive. I just got a WRX and she gets to eat gravel everyday on the way to work. In fact the part of my day I look forward to most it when I get behind that wheel before and after work.

When will Subaru rejoin the WRC?

Rumor has it, Subaru is joining WRC quite soon. I don't it'll happen for the 2025 WRX season, but maybe 2026. WRX is coming back to the USA for 2026 as well (maybe). Rally USA is bringing it back.. It'll be held in the Chattanooga, TN in the Cherokee National Forest area. I don't think it's official yet, but it's looking good for it to happen. I'm about a 90 minute drive away.. I'm excited for this!

Why r u explaining to us what a co driver does and how rally works.. we have seen 12 seasons of launch control. Honestly I've watched all 12 seasons and these two episodes are by far the worst ever put out. Go back to the old narrator, go back to the old format for episodes. This is trash.

@daveao686 this is supposed to be a show for hardcore rally fans. That's what all 11 other seasons were.. why change now, did the audience change?? And that's too bad about the old narrator, I'm sure the new guy will work into his own voice for the show. That said the format and choice what to narrate should stay true to what made the series successful.

@@djevans614Not having produced full shows for a few years, we see the show as a reboot. Maybe… just maybe… a few new people might want to add to the fray. That's the reason for the mini explainer. As this series's original and current producer, from day one, let me tell you this show IS for the hardcore fans…. AND their significant other. So, a little explanation after a few years off isn't so bad! Just know that this is still the same show you loved 12 years ago… but we’ll always do our best to keep it fresh, current and innovative!

@bowesmediainc8767 wow, that's a very personal response from a producer of the show.. thanks..I do love the show and did watch the whole episode, i cant not watch, it is the best rally show on yt even though I criticize sometimes. Although dirtfish is now putting out some great content also, LC was the original.
