Switching a language requires downloading the whole software in the selected language via WiFi, so will it be possible to switch (without additional costs) a language after 1 year free subscription period?

This device supposedly has a way of doing off-line updates (via USB or TF card), but there are no updates available anywhere on the LAUNCH website. Also, I can't find a way to verify the remaining on-line subscription period.

The product can be used offline, but cannot be updated. Product updates are through WIFI.
