Launch Creader 3001 First time using checking readiness monitors

Today I will show you how to quickly check to see if you have any trouble codes and also if someone has cleared codes recently. This can be very useful for car shopping so you don't get stuck with a car that has had problems covered up. This OBD2 code reader is made by Launch and the model is the Creader 3001. it is a very basic code reader and I will probably do a review on it after some usage. It does show freeze frame data, emission monitors, distance since code cleared, current codes and history codes in the PCM, TCM, ECM.

Just bought recently a CReader 3001 (China) thru Lazada Online. After running the diagnostics, scanner displays a connection or compatibility error. According to seller it's compatible with my Toyota Avanza 2008. I doubt the car's OBD pinout might be tampered with since I bought it as 2nd hand? I checked the car's OBD pinout with the following pins wired: 1, 4, 5, 7, 9, 12, 13 & 16. Is this correct?

Hi Like your video Pls advise, I'm owning toyota camry 2009 v6 , my car is popping up VSC Track off and check engine light , I gone through obd scanning through out work shop they say my o2 sensor has problem and bad catalytic converter, so I have changed both still after installation after 40 miles of driving the lights came on again, so he told me to replace fuel cap , so I replaced but no more any changes I'm totally confused , my car running and performance everything very smooth. Worried coz of lights.

Doesn't work with my Toyota Avanza 1.3J MT 2008 & Toyota Innova 2006 though works with Hyundai Porter.

I just got my c reader 3001 and it won't read my car I'm trying to see what's wrong with my car because it won't start

It’s possible that the engine computer isn’t talking or another computer in the system is causing communication to stop. This could be the cause of the no start and no communication.

This is why California requires a car to have a valid smog certificate before a seller can sell a car (in most cases).

Certain areas of Colorado are like that and require smog testing but for the most part people just drive around with a check engine light.
