I bought the game in pre order...but only 2 players in Online mode is unforgivable

The Switch version getting delayed was something I kinda expected because the game wasn’t available for pre-order on there yet it was available for pre-order on on my Xbox. So I’ll probably get Rita’s Rewind on the Xbox first and I’ll wait once it goes on a strong sale on the Switch. A shame it’s not coming on all platforms on the same day as advertised, but sometimes hiccups happen I get it. But let’s give kudos to Digital Eclipse for being honest with us about the situation throughout their interviews and social media. Not many game devs do that so it’s REALLY appreciated.

Really makes one wonder why only 2 Player Co-Op at launch when we have seen trailers and press game play with five rangers. What makes this even more strange is IGN has gameplay of THREE Rangers fighting the Chunky Chicken in a video from 6 Days ago at the time of this comment... stupidly titled "How Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind is More Than Shredder's Revenge in Spandex - Beyond!" They really need a yelling from Dr. K on that one because IT'S NOT SPANDEX! Edit: Guess it's from the Couch Co-Op in the gameplay?

The game is going to have 4 player Couch coop at launch. IGN's video is them playing Couch coop. It's ONLINE mode that is limited to 2 players at launch. If you're playing on PC though, I recommend getting Parsec while allows you to remote play the game with friends online, so you'll be able to playing 4 play online with your friends

Still getting it day one since they have been upfront about the problems and that they are actively working to fix it so the game will be as people want soon enough.

Did they announced a physical release? I don't think any of Digital Eclipse' games as ever gotten a physical release. I can't imagine it's going to get one

I had pre ordered this for the dec 10 release for my PS5 and I am glad this hasn’t effected it.

This is extremely disappointing. It's like every beat-em-up that has tried to copy the formulaic success of TMNT: Shredder's Revenge fails MISERABLY in the online/co-op department. Double Dragon Gaiden didn't do online play at launch (though after having talked to the devs, their reason is understandable due to being a 2 man team), Karate Kid: Street Rumble offers no online play unless you're doing Steam Remote Play, and now Rita's Rewind can't even do MORE than 2 players on launch. I get it's cool that they add local play, but we no longer live in age where people can just go to each other's houses any time we want. Some of us have friends in different towns, states, countries, etc. It's an online world. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

So it is true for the Online only having 2 players D= . On the bright side you can use parsec to play with 5 players at once online.

@@halcyonways1476 I mean I get that, and we were able to play Karate Kid: Street Rumble in a similar manner with Steam Remote Play, but it SHOULDN'T have to take Parsec/Steam Remote Play just to play with others online. The point is every game that has tried to replicate the success of Shredder's Revenge fails because they cannot do co-op/online play or strictly do local play only. There are even more powerful and well known games that are using crossplay as the bare minimum, and that should be the new standard. Either launch with online or don't launch at all.

@@StryfetheWarrior You're 100% RIGHT. I was just letting people know some other ways to play this online for 5 people. I would be really pissed off if I got the game on day one and found out there was only had 2 player online. Kind of am pissed off finding out about it yesterday. IGN and all the KZbin interviews with DEV didn't say anything about not having a full 5 player online. 😞

Got it on preorder for ps5. Honestly pick up a portal it has changed how I use my PlayStation. It really works. Giving the dev team the benefit of the doubt I am sure they will make it as it should be post launch. I am not expecting it to be as good as the turtles game tho.

This is going to greatly affect review scores. This brand needs a BIG win for the gaming space and for them to fumble the online co-op aspect at launch for a POWER RANGERS game is unacceptable. Im obviously going to still cop it but man this sucks.

This sucks they should have caught the bugs and fix them before they release the game this looks bad on them as a company they better fix it fast if they know what is good for them or else this game will be a big flop and a waste of money as a power rangers fan I am very piss off and I know Hasbro must not be very happy with them for screwing this game up big time they will lose the video game license for sure if they don’t fix things quick as they will lose money on a piece of crap
