Shashi Tharoorji, you are a blessing. Indian history texts have to rewritten. We dont teach children, so called arabic numerals came from India. We dont teach in depth contributions of Aryabhata or other indian scientists. Indian kids are brought up in such a way that they think for science we have to thank westerners and British contributed so much to India,

Thanks for your unbiased, deeply reseached book at all and recently, it got the National Literature award of 2019 Nevertheless, I think it is a bit tough to get the meanings at its real slot........ Therefore, in this Lockdown time, i try to read successfully the book with prying all its meanings, i am, like u a Malayali interested in English literature.... 😜 😜
