I almost pulled the trigger on this one. Had it in the cart finger hovering over complete order button and backed out. I decided I want to jump up a lever and get the X431 pro 3 V5. I love the launch software experience. It makes novices and professionals alike punch higher than their weight. Most tools don’t make you a better mechanic, but the Launch’s easy software and explanations of codes and suggested points of interest really do, especially for a novice or small garage. In a garage at any level, this Launch will make you money through its in-depth diagnostics and ease of software. I have about 6 bi-directional scan tools and even my basic Launch Elight allows me to quickly diagnose a problem much quicker than my Xtool or even my Autel. Software refinement is paramount.

Some great points, cars now are some complex, you need a diagnostic tool like this Launch to understand where to fault find. The cost of what it is, will pay for itself after only a few uses !

Happy New Year. Good video and nice scan tool but a bit expensive at over £400 for what I need.

@GrooveOn Thanks, because of you I bought the same Launch model as you have for your Mercedes but fit Toyota. I have two 5 year old Icarsoft tools but they are for VAG. The Launch is all that I need for my 2018 Toyota CHR which has the 1.2 turbo engine and 6 speed manual gearbox. I've had it a few weeks now and used the Launch to find codes. I found the infamous C1201 but no check light or any other codes. I've since deleted it and it's not come back. My only grumble would be it not having a case but a great scan tool. Many thanks!
