I have reviewed many scanners, but the Pro version of the X431 is one of the best bi-directional scanners I have used and tested. It's capabilities are very impressive as it can perform OEM level functions, scan all system and modules on most vehicles and has 37 built in special reset functions! This would be a perfect asset for an enthusiast that likes to dive deep into their cars or a mechanic running a repair shop. This scan tool is also expandable with the use of hardware attachments and it can perform CANDF DOIP as well as FCA AutoAuth for Stellantis vehicles. In this video, I'm testing it on my BMW X7.

One thing you have to be careful there's some fake launch products out there so if you're buying it from the net could easily be a fake. What's it like with Mercedes 20-year-olds? Can you adjust the emissions if you need to adjust the richness? you can change how the injectors are functioning you can check emissions in real time I suppose you would need an exhaust probe or can you use the oxygen sensor in the exhaust? These extra modules does it have to be by the same make launch or will it work other module tools work with it? I think it has DPF regenerationand fault finding I need that for vans cars as well.

Unfortunately, that is becoming the new normal from what I can see. What brands have free lifetime updates on all features? I think I've only tested 1 advanced scanner that actually didn't charge for updates after a year or two. Thanks for watching!
