You can duplicate the sheet we created as a template. Or, create your own new google sheet. Insert the API from Openai into the Google Sheet > Extensions > Chat GPT for Sheets > Click on "launchpad" and enter API.

It might need a reset. I haven't seen that error message.

Says connect Chat GPT to sheets, but then instructions turn into GPT3 API it appears, because there isn't a ChatGPT API yet.

There was an error in the video. It was updated to remove the app, and use the API connection instead.

@@glassfullmedia3765 I looked at the script running this sheet, and it's using davinci-003 and not chatgpt. And the reason it's only getting the 170 words is because of the JS OpenAI API query code its using in the script. It actually only needs a bit of tweaking to make it work with chatgpt and output longer word count.

Did you set up the API and connect it to your version of the sheet? Formula should be =AI(insert cell)

The GPT for Sheets extension formula is indeed GPT, not AI.

Thank you for the comment! It was possible because everyone who was downloading the google sheet was actually using my already installed API key 😂. Costing me more each day, whoops. I have now revoked my API key from the google sheet so you will need to add your own API key now to get column F to re-fill.

My humble opinion on AI... Since AI handles all the creation, production, and problem-solving, using AI on a constant basis will produce a society of mental Morons. Our youths can't even divide one number into another number without using a calculator. Just saying.

Agreed that the value of information is reducing to zero. AI will reduce the need for a human workforce. I think we are in a long transition from the working economy to a more automated economy. Over the following years, all governments will introduce basic income and working a full-time job will not be required - you can choose to work to earn a better living. Long way to go still.
