@@shpadoinkle_wombat European here, that is generally incorrect. Across 18 European countries and hundreds of cities here, I have not seen a single elevator ding. I have, however, seen countless elevators that say "Ground floor", "First floor, platform exit", "Fifth floor", and other variations in a huge variety of languages. The ones that make noises will always describe which floor it is at, but never ding.

Temporal Scout 41 report: the mansion has been a residence of scientific breakthrough, in part due to our lovely pigstronauts aboard the Snout Scout. I have reviewed all of subject Zedaph's documentary videos and he has indeed turned to redstone many times to make beds of different sorts. One of the earliest was a secret bedroom: one pressed a button and dropped through the floor to the bedroom, where one could literally count a sheep's bounces to fall asleep; upon waking, the sleeper was immediately launched back up through the floor, which closed underneath their feet. The use of clipping cows is a stroke of genius. A few died in the making, but what is science if there isn't a little sacrifice? We shall remember them as we enjoy their tasty steaks. Addendum: the old Cave has been receiving some renovations, but the new inhabitant seems reluctant to use the contraptions held within. The facelift is much needed, however, and it feels a bit more...homelike? As much as a cave can be, at least. So rest assured, Scouts. The experiments remain secure for now. Scout 41 signing off.

I love this base swap series! There are some Hermits that have much bigger audiences than others. The fact that people have swapped bases must mean that some audiences are watching Hermits they've never seen before, just to see what they are doing to their favourite Hermit's base. That has got to lead to more subscriptions for the smaller Hermits, right? Grian and Mumbo have millions of subscribers (like 14m between them!) and i really hope that Zed, Cleo, Keralis, Beef, Iskall, and Scar have seen a decent boost in their numbers cos they all deserve it! (and that goes for all the other hermits that swapped too, obvs. Those above are just the ones that I watch)

Okay this episode made me think of that, too, but for an entirely different reason. The part where he said "lay your hat on the bed" reminded me of the end scene where the woman lays her hat on the bed and then quickly picks it back up, but the guy tells her it's too late. Which is seared into my memory for some reason as the thing that taught me of the superstition that putting your hat on your bed is bad luck. Why is the the "No Country for Old Men" episode?

If you put a vine in the hole with the cows, they won't entity cram because climbing prevents that. Also, try the trapdoor at the cows feet instead of their head, I think headbutting it is what's hurting you. Awesome episode!

A cool contraption might be a secret changing room for Grian's alter ego, sort of like a chicken cave or something where he sits in a chair and gets shot down a tunnel and dispensers fire the chicken man costume onto him and he ends up in the chicken cave... of course Grian isn't Chicken man but if he was this could be a really cool contraption to built next in the mansion

As fun as either would be, - Villagers crammed in 1 space would be really laggy as their AI is really complex. - Armor stands dont knock players back :(
