Honestly had not even noticed this. DAM always sits at 1.00 I can tell you tho I had just left the gas station for a fill up so maybe that could explain it? 🤷‍♂️

Damn would not drop right after leaving the gas station, if it was the gas it would take time, first the ecu has to recognize consistent knock events in a specific rpm range and it would first trigger the feedback knock and then fine knock learning reduce the timing to try and stop the detonation and once that fails the dam will drop

No I totally agree. My boy is making 500whp in his sti and it sounds so nuts. I have really grown to love these cars. They are definitely misunderstood and get a bad rep for reliability. Honestly it just comes down to the owners habits. You take care of it and it will take care of you.

dude i wanna e85 my 2015 so bad but idk what to tune on now that cobbs gone, open source im guessing? shes at 90k miles tho ill just stick to my stage 2 for now not fast but fun probably at like 295-310 hp , once she blows maybe ill build it. you make me jealous man

Haha thanks for the comment brother. 😄 So from what I understand you can still go e85 or e60 whatever you want only difference is no flex fuel capability. So you would just need separate tunes and would have to change your map based on ethanol content. So this power level is still easily accessible. I would hit up Mike @mtuned he will tell you everything you need to do in preparation

@@danielmirra1261 no problem at all I'd say the stage 1+ ots Cobb tune should get you by until this weekend then you can run the stg 2 after dp install just stay out of boost and you should be good until pro tune. Who's tuning it?

Cobb Big Sf Cold air intake, Turbo xs catted downpipe, grimspeed ebcs, Cobb flex fuel kit, Ams front mount kit, E60 Tune by Mike Adkins at Mtuned Sitting on BC extreme lows and wheels are wrapped in 245 45 18 Continental extreme contact DWS06's. I love it man. Cheap build tbh but it rips thanks to Mike

? Description clearly says it has been tuned by someone else. The access port is just a piggy back for the on board ECU. I can assure you that is not a COBB Stage 2 tune lmao.

AC gives ghost knock. I've been at this power level for 2 years now no issues whatsoever. I don't normally push it even when I see that but I didn't notice it during this pull.

@@Tighty-Whities Mine randomly makes heavy drops for no apparent reason. I have problems with DAM as well after a short-block replacement, with her going a-wire from 1.000-0.875 with 3/4 - 1/8 tank to 0.250 on a full tank. I checked everything, even tearing her apart to see if anything was misplaced. Yet, nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Even my tuner is confused as to why she is dropping that much on full-tank.

@@andypacmanperez I dont remember the exact clutch but its something from Competition Clutch. Ive got a cobb cold air intake, Invidia catback, ID injectors, forged heads and rods, a front mount kit and a flex fuel kit. She pulls for 447 WHP on E85. (2014 wrx limited)

@@Anthrogynous just play with the launch control settings start at like 4600 rpms and then raise if it bogs on launch then you just gotta find that sweet spot for your power and clutch set up
