So many beautiful quilts again....those little quilts were gorgeous and your quilting is fabulous. I'm learning through your channel how I like a lot of texture which wasn't necessarily me even just a few years ago. I guess one's tastes evolve.

So thrilled you featured one of my mini quilts as the thumbnail to this video. I felt like a little kid at Christmas seeing my quilts featured this week. I couldn’t wait for the mail to arrive to see them in person. So happy with how they all turned out, appreciate the care you gave each one. I’m looking forward to binding and hanging them in my sewing room. Enjoy watching each weeks videos and the stories behind them. Look forward to your report on your personal projects and would like to hear how you liked working with the strarched fabric. I may try that next time I start a mini quilt to manage the small pieces better. ❤Natalya

good morning Tammie. I am sure enjoying your videos. I love seeing these beautiful Quilt and how you quilted them as well as the discussion of the patterns and fabric lines. You have a beautiful, calming voice and great presentation. I use the Linit liquid starch found at my grocery store for about four dollars per 64 ounce bottle I cannot do the spray starch because it really impacts my lungs. I dry on a drying rake outdoors. You have to have a hot steam iron or just dampen it well and iron. I have an ElnaPress. I just covered using a steam iron. I’ve always used a dry iron. I am considering buying a steam station, but we have very hard water here and I understand it’s better to use tapwater as opposed to distilled water so mom kind of leery of it. I hear some people use drinking water or softened water. I don’t have a water softener, I am loving your videos

Tammie I don't know if you or your viewers know about liquid starch - not the expensive stuff but just old fashion liquid starch. You can find it in grocery stores in the laundry section. You mix it up to the strength you want, dip your fabric in it and hang it up to dry. Much less expensive and I think it does a better job because I can make it as strong (stiff) as I want. Most of all easier on the hand having to spray.

I wondered about that as I was going through ALL those bottles of spray! I will definitely look into that next time!

The starching 😮! I could see some of the fabrics shrink up! Glad you did it out side 👍. Ruth's quilt my favorite this week. Favorite Pantagraph was ocean waves. 🩷

I absolutely agree. Paying the same for a pdf pattern is appropriate because we’re actually paying for the designer’s work that created the pattern.

Oh my goodness that was a lot of starch. You may want to do the Flo sta starch concentrate and mix with water. That is a very good way for best of your bucks. Q: how long have you lived there and how did you and your husband meet? What a great family and seems you have Jesus in your lives. Thank you and God bless you

Thanks for the tip! I wondered if there was a liquid?! My hands did not like all that spraying 😬. Can’t wait to answer your questions!

I lay a trash bag under my fabric when I starch. I was using a towel but it was absorbing my too much starch.
