Laundry room makeover | Ikea pax hack + diy peg rail

Most rental apartments in Germany come with a small separate storage room in the basement. Since half of our apartment is already in the basement, this extra room is within our apartment and fortunately for us, it's pretty spacious.
Over the last few months, I have been reorganizing that room and created a storage corner, a home gym and (yay!) a pantry. Initially we'd wanted to install our washer and dryer into this room as well, but that was not possible. Instead, it had to be installed in our adjacent bathroom. But... the dreams of having a laundry room were not to be killed! So here is the journey of creating our dreamy blue laundry corner ☁️

The beadbord look was quite popular in Germany about 15 years ago with the "Landhaus" trend. My Ikea kitchen has this design and I still really like it, it has such a cozy elegant vibe

Gorgeous! It is so beautiful and you are a DIY queen. One thing I would have added, would be another handle on the corner door. Although you dont open it from that side, it would be more harmonious and aesthetically complete to add a handle to that door, as it feels like something is missing there. Since the laundry is used only by you, you know which handle to open and which handle is "faux"

It's a lovely laundry room area. I really like the bead board wallpaper inserts, I'm a fan of bead board. All that storage too and functional space. You planned it out very well, thought of everything. Nicely done!
