I love your laundry room. Mine is smaller but I can do some of your tips. My husband passed away and he always did jobs like this. He was really good at working with wood etc. I did help him a lot but I could never do this. My laundry room really needs to be done. Thanks for a great video.

I had an idea if you’re interested. :) the empty space to the right of your cabinets would be a perfect spot for a rod to put hangers if it’s deep enough. (It’s hard to tell on video) :) Your laundry room turned out so lovely!

Love how this turned out and I love the butcher block. Just a thought - if it bugs you at all, you could cut 3 in off the other side and put it back so you have the same “design” in both ends. I don’t think it looks bad but if you notice it every time you go in there, this might help. ❤️

I have a big laundry room and have my upright freezer in it along with wood shelves for pantry items. It is very nice but dies need organizing better. Your laundry room turned out very nice I know you will love it. This has inspired me to do a little organizing in mine.

Looks very nice. I agree board & baton would look very nice on that one wall. But do you use both dryer balls & sheets? I thought the dryer balls supplemented the use of sheets.

Seems to me like she bought the dryer balls for aesthetic purposes because you're right, dryer balls replace the need for dryer sheets. Similar to how she bought clothes pins.. Does she have a clothes line in the backyard??

I love the look of the butcher block! What a perfect space to fold. Unfortunately our washer and dryer are in the unfinished basement so I have to lug the laundry baskets upstairs, dump the clothes on the living room floor, and fold there! Ugh! I also love the glass containers you put all the cleaners, scent boosters, etc in. The labels make them look so clean and cohesive!

I would put a tray or plastic liner under your detergent and bleach. The drips will wreck your cabinets

I love this! It's so natural and visually appealing. I would, however, suggest putting the dog food & treats in a different room, because all of the heat and humidity from the dryer will cause them to spoil and grow mold and could make your dogs very ill. These are best stored in a very dry and cool space, so that they stay fresh and the oils won't go rancid and they will have a much longer shelf-life. Beautiful job on the laundry room though! I'm definitely copying it.

I love the outcome!! I have a dog and what I do is set the bowls up high on a "lift". This way, the pup doesn't have to hang his head down to eat. I have a neck issue, so I think everyone else does too. This way he has an elevated bowl that allows him to eat with dignity 😂 just a suggestion, you can build one or just cut holes in a box and set the bowls in it. $0

So beautiful, I’m new to your channel! Love your videos. I just painted my walls & cabinets in my laundry room. I added knobs because my cabinets didn’t have them. I have hexagon tile that goes with my hard wood floors. Just need to have it installed. My husband is adding a smaller shelf for me, I think I will stain my shelf. If it kind of bothers you, you could always chop 3” off the left side of the butcher block and put another 3” piece back in. You could even stain those two pieces a shade or two darker. That way the seams would look more intentional.

just a suggestion: if you’re going to decant bleach, try to use an opaque container, or just remove the Clorox label from the bottle and replace with one of the bespoke labels. Exposure to light through a clear container will cause the bleach to degrade much more rapidly. I ended up just removing the clorox label and using some goo gone to pick up the remaining residue, then added on one of my labels. it looks great!

Next time if you do this if you want it to be floating you only need to nail a 1x2 into the studs on the wall on all three sides and it will sit just on top of them giving a floating effect! Love the wallpaper by the way!
