Benanti hosted the Drama Deskl awards two times and she was amazing specially when she said that if there were a Soprano Island this lady should be in the leading room.when she introduced Barbara Cook who gave the final award Best Musical .Benanti also said that the belters are playing more roles in the new musicals. She was right because Sutton Foster is playing a role Laura Benanti should have done Marian Paroo in The Music Man.
