I had the pleasure of seeing Laura Branigan at a dance club concert in Hollywood back in '82. The round tables were lined up on each side of a large dance floor. She was singing and walking around and all of us were chair dancing. Laura then came up to me where I was sitting, grabbed my tie and gave me a kiss on the cheek. No, I wasn't drunk or dreaming. The group I came with and me were all surprised and yelling . Till this day I don't remember the other singers names but 42 years later Laura Branigan I will Never Forget! Seeing her pretty face/smile and hearing her beautiful voice upclose. Good Times!

Wow, you saw her 10 times!? No way!! You must’ve really liked/loved her!!! I didn’t know about her until a couple/few months ago!!! Found out about her through the song, Gloria, on KZbin!!! I’m 73 now, but I was married to a man that just liked country music, though I was raised with rock ‘n’ roll, etc.! He didn’t want to listen to rock ‘n’ roll, so I listened to country, and though I hated it before, I ended up loving it!!! But I missed out on Laura Branigan!!

She has one raucous voice! Gloria has stayed with me since 1983. Singing into my hairbrush; you know the sort of thing. One DJ on Absolute Radio said "Never heard of her" I thought what planet are you on?!!!

The more I watch her live performances the Greatest I think she was. She had a powerful multi-octive range. She was Definitely one of the Greatest Female Singers of her time. I'm sad for the tragic happenings in her life. Her husband dying from cancer. Falling off a ladder and injuring herself. Dieing so young from an aneurysm. I'm sure had she lived she would still be a Star ⭐. She worked hard and controlled her career with Grace and Respect for all those who helped her on her Journey. I miss her. Thank God for her Music and Videos!

Laura Branigan was and will be my favorite singer, many will come, but my heart will always be Laura's, a lady, a lady, pure talent, owner of an incomparable voice, she could reach 5/8, in her vocal range, I found out from the analysis made by a vocal coach, she was an interpreter, she felt what she sang, and she transmitted it, that's why sometimes she got emotional and you could see her tearing up.....I will always say that perhaps she was ahead of her time, her songs They were recorded in the 90's by Celine Dion and they had more diffusion, and a lot of success, I will never understand why they didn't give her the recognition she deserved... maybe she didn't have good managers, I don't know, I just know that she lives in our hearts .

Laura was the Shania Twain of her time for me. Didn't care for her music (but she could really sing and belt out the tune), she was my first hot music crush for a 13 yr old. Years later I can appreciate her talent. She really was bottled lightening, and left it out on the stage with each song she sang. Getting teary eyed and to continue singing isn't exactly easy, no matter who you are. Gone too soon..

One of the few concerts that includes what happens backstage. People often forget how much performers give on the stage without realizing what they need to do backstage during the "pauses" (when they change outfits, self-care to keep performing, etc). We lost a one of a kind performer when Laura was called home. I imagine she looks down at all of us still celebrating her. We are "her other half". Also cool to see Larry at the end! :)

I first saw this concert recording on a channel I found one night called Eye Music Network. Loved it so much I searched far and wide for a copy which I eventually found. I was too young to see her actually perform, but would have loved to. One of my favorite singers ever, and by everything I've seen she had to have been an amazing person as well. I am a such a mega fan Laura Branigan since 2015 or 2016 prior I liked her but only knew a couple songs. "Hot Night'' from Ghostbusters '84 in the film and on the Soundtrack it was the 1rst song of hers I heard. "Gloria" came not long after and all I heard growing up on the radio with 80's Rewinds. Not till I started downloading her full albums by 15 or 16 as I said. "Gloria" is a great Single an d all but so sad good song such much better rocking songs and more that show off her amazing vocal range that went 2 feet! She was and always will be one of the most beautiful women in the world. I also prefer brunettes she is so my favorite singer a Goddess to me forever. She had an earth shattering powerhouse voice, with a kick ass backing band. She sang from the heart grabbed her audience and feels music like me as a drummer, body chills or crying from songs. I so feel her songs she did brought tears to my eyes and body chilling!!!!! She was an amazing woman taken way too soon. I have a Custom made T-Shirt I payed 30 Dollars from a Website called Public Tee. I have most of her 80's albums on CD Expanded ones too for a lot of them. I have this as a download from the Laserdisc it is one of my favorite concerts ever so spectacular!!!! I have digital downloads of her CD's and I did my own rips. Have some Interviews, and a nice live bootleg collection her live shows were so much better then her studio performances. The 5 albums she made in the 80's are killers!!!! Her band always rocked her powerful voice!! She had so much class and style to me no matter what hands down always the best female singer and forever in my heart!!!!!!!
