Great video. A bit of trivia here: This clip from "American Bandstand" was from September 1987. It was the very last "Bandstand" episode shown on ABC - before the program went off into syndication. Laura wound up being the last guest on the ABC version of "Bandstand". Great song from Laura! :)

September 5, 1987 was the day when "American Bandstand" aired its final ABC episode. It spent one year in syndication, and then it spent 26 weeks on the USA network in 1989.

You should post that entire final ABC-TV episode of "American Bandstand" from start to finish! Including the commercials, if there's any. It would be great to see that final ABC episode once again. Definitely post it whenever you get a chance!

pat benatar songs (e.g. battlefield, hit me with your best shot, etc), albeit not chart toppers, but charted nevertheless, and therefore get more airplays nowadays.. but even branigan songs that charted don't get airplays nowadays on stations like CBS-FM where they play the 80's. shame.
