Great review! I bought and used this foundation without knowing anything about it beforehand. I am an absolute beginner in makeup and only do the absolute minimum, experimenting a bit here and there but nothing really stuck yet except for lipstick. But using this foundation was really a gamechanger for me, and had the same surprised experience you had.

I was delighted to hear you discuss why you prefer a makeup sponge and don’t prefer a brush!! I feel the same way with his the bristles of brushes can irritate my skin, even the softest brush! Great video! (btw… I’m super sensitive, fair, dry, mature age 66.5)

I have the driest skin and fine lines and constantly dealing with Houston crazy weather change (I know you used to live here so you get it! @@gracemedina1320 I did actually! But i have a pretty peachy-fuzzy face so I think the combination of peach fuzz and flaky skin just weren’t well suited to this one… I do want to give it another try though! I hope I was just wrong!!

Firstly, I am new to KZbin as a Subscriber, and I am so thankful I found your channel! You’re exquisite! I did try this foundation because of your review and having the same skin type as me, and so far I unfortunately don’t like it. It sucked every ounce of moisture out of my skin. My last and final try will be with a beauty oil and see if that helps. I’ll probably switch to the Charlotte Tillbury based on another review you did , and it looked so beautiful on you! Blessings! Do you recommend this foundation for oily skin? Or for those who have a bit of an oily skin on that T-Zone? I'm worried bc I've heard it is GREAT for mature skin; however, my skin is kinda changing now as I enter my 50's. 🙂 Feeling it is a bit oily on my T-Zone now.

Update: Saw another influencer says that she throws them in the washing machine. So I tried it. I put them in a lingerie bag and washed them in my machine on warm. It worked!!! They don’t come out brand new looking, but good enough for me. My back can’t take hovering over the sink cleaning sponges. 😩

Hello Excellent video! As incredible as it may seem, I think there is more coverage on the side applied with a sponge than on the side applied with a brush! 2W1 Macadamia is my most perfect color match in the ridiculously huge amount of foundations I have tried. HG shade for me. I do still prefer her Lumiere foundation because this one feels kind of oily, sits on top of my skin and never seems to dry down. But maybe I just need to try a sponge vs a brush. Will compare the two. Thanks!!

I use a water based hydrating moisturizer underneath foundations, I don’t like using primers anymore unless you have really problematic skin

I really think the separation of the product is due to heat spikes in delivery trucks and things like that. Either way, all ppl. need to do is mix it up and TA DA! Personally, I don't mind the packaging. Haven't tried it yet, but I love glass and don't mind traveling with products I love.

LM used to have the more gorgeous mineral foundation on the PLANET. Not sure what happened over there, but they reformulated to have their 1st ingredient as talc. They fell off my radar after that. It seemed the whole line was cheaping out.
